Update: July 19th, 2020. Ordered online for curbside pickup, was happy with the process and speed, in fact, was surprised at how quick it was and I glad we another curbside grocery option. Then, after arriving home, I found but multiple items were rotten, moldy, and weeks past their due date. I called the store and they were unwilling to do anything other than have me drive all the way back and come in the store to return.
Considering I am in a high risk group, that is unacceptable. I spent a few hundred dollars, there were under $20 worth of groceries that had the issue. I usually wouldn't have this issue as shopping in the store I would check the dates and quality before leaving. This is new to us (curbside pickup), but I hate to say it, but Wal-Mart has managed to do it well and I usually can't stand Wal-Mart. Target, unfortunately, does not seem ready to offer curbside pickup. They rolled it out in a hurry, and ultimately are just going to cause more grief for consumers. I'll never try curbside pickup there again.
Previous review: Great store, very mellow compared to California stores (where I am from). Most of the employees are very nice, including the managers; though I once witnessed a very awkward uncomfortable encounter between the store manager, and an employee, over the main area of the store not being swept. Told women working self check Out that I needed help splitting my payments between my payment types women also made my husband do her job for her by putting away the items she was supposed To put away when we decided we didn’t have enough money to buy them and realizing food prices were higher than we think - when I had women help me Spilt payment she had to handle the cash and then I wanted to put $15 one one Card and the rest on a gift card - the women did it wrong and causes my debit account to go -$109 when I confronted her she told me nothing I can do you swiped your card (she told me it was set to swipe) the she proceeded to grab my shoulder and when I told her “don’t touch me” she said I normally don’t she said I was trying to call you down to which I told her regardless you don’t touch your customers- Alex at customer Service was wonderful and helped sort it out and did it with a smile so now I won’t be in the negatives - the old geezer in self checkout should not be allowed there because she almost caused me financial hard ship by not knowing how to Spilt payments properly and then proceeded to tell me that it...
Read moreI shop at Target all the time in Somersworth. I have 4 kids so you can imagine how often I am here. I have never had a problem until one day I went in to exchange a few items my kids had received for Christmas. I was returning clothes that were either to big /small and a couple toys that were duplicates. When I approached the counter the woman looked at me and said “do you have a receipt?” I told her no and that they were gifts and I was looking to exchange and most likely would be spending more money. She rang a few items up and told me the items were no longer in their system and I could not exchange them but then proceeded to tell me that if I had the receipt I could. That doesn’t even make sense. The woman at the front desk made me feel like she thought I had stolen these items. She calls the front end manager over, Michelle. She then tells me I can’t return 2 pairs of pajamas and 2 bodysuits because they are no longer in the system and that I could call customer service and talk to them. I manage a retail store myself and could never imagine any of my girls not taking care of a customer on store level. Not only is my review going on here but I also posted it on the BBB.
