WXYZ Lounge — Restaurant in South Bend

Great contemporary modern style bar/lounge in the heart of Downtown South Bend. The interesting light fixtures and chill vibe make this a fun place to hangout and order a few drinks. There are board games you can play as well as a pool table and if you are lucky you can catch some live music. My wife and I love this place and as a bonus you can catch a live comedy show right in the same building. The only thing keeping this place from five stars are the prices as it's a hotel bar which means inflated prices and unfortunately as good as the food looks I cannot leave a review because I have not tried the food. They have four beer choices on tap usually with one eccentric flavor when we went it was Mango Wheat (Delicious by the way) and the bar tenders were very friendly with quick service, I highly recommend you check...

Recieved THE WORST bar service tonight. The bartender was lifeless and exasperated that we walked up at 8:30pm to a bar listed as closing at 11pm. She had no drink specials, no suggestions and really just shook her head yes and no, then wandered around looking for mint only to tell us all the things we couldn't have like the mint for mojitos and food due to the kitchen closing, oh and making last call in 30 minutes. Never been but this is for grown and sexy!! The atmosphere was perfect..Fancy yet casual!! Great place to start the night before everyone gets to far gone..Quaint areas to have drinks and conversation..I really enjoyed it..They provided live entertainment....I will definately go back again..The bathrooms were so nice and cleanliness kept up..This place is part of the hotel.The bar makes we want to get a room!! If the bar is this nice I can only image how the rooms...
