This is a review for store "#334" I have been coming to this store ever since I've moved into this town....7 years ago and have never had a single problem any time I have shopped here or had to return something. I never thought I'd be sitting here giving a 1 star rating but here I am.... last weekend I bought something in the hunting department for a good friend of mine as a Christmas gift. I gave it to him early and it wasn't exactly what he wanted but that's okay, so tonight Saturday, December 17th around 8pm exactly one week later from the date of purchase I finally had the time to return the product. Waited in line about 10 minutes at the customer service desk for the return and had many people behind me. The young man at the desk needed managers assistance. Your manager carol came to "help" and let me tell you this... I have a lot to say about her and I only spoke with her for 30 seconds. Her first approach was very rude and unprofessional.. the second she walked up she couldn't even introduce herself and gave my friend and I nothing but an attitude. We were nothing but calm and patient and she wouldn't even give us a chance to speak. She cut us off if we had something to say and was also rude to her employee as well. After she very rudely Dealt with us she grabbed the persons stuff behind us and made her employee deal with them and just left us aside and our product like we were never even there. It was very unprofessional and embarrassing and I'm sorry, that is the exact opposite way a manger should treat customers. Shortly after, my friend and I went to the gun department and a young man helped us and gave great assistance and was very kind. He's the type of person that should be manager for your store. Not Carol! The young man advised us that there was an envelope that was supposed to come with our purchase as well as accessories. None of those things were handed to me at the register when the purchase was made. Carol seemed to not understand that the product came off the shelf and continued to tell us that a bunch of packaging was missing. There was no packaging for the bow we bought except the tag and she refused to look up the rewards number to see what we purchased etc and while dealing with her attitude her associate couldn't help himself but to laugh at the situation. Very embarrassing. I spend a good amount of money in your store year to year but after this incident i don't feel comfortable with going in there anymore. You have lost a customer and this store will be the least of my recommendation for anybody UNLESS there were to be new management. My friend and I were embarrassed due to how unprofessional our situation was held. Read moreI don't think I will return to this store and I would recommend going to any other in the area. Nobody goes to a store to receive bad treatment from poorly qualified personnel. The self-proclaimed manager named Travis treated me as if I was digging through his closet. He approached me with an uncomfortable attitude as if he was very angry but trying to be polite it seems that what made him angry was that I left 5 shirts in the dressing room unfolded and that I was all over the store looking at the clothes and not putting them back where they were. I had never received a complaint like that in a store. I approached him to try to give him some credit for trying to keep the store organized and I told him that he should check they don’t have any Nike athletic shoes between size 10 and 11 because it was impossible for me to take one being such a common size. and he told me that he had thousands of other things in his store. Read moreI had an incredibly frustrating experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods with the store manager, Veronica. I came in knowing I had a good amount of rewards to use, but instead of making any real effort to assist me, she simply said she couldn’t locate my account and left it at that. There was no attempt to problem-solve, no suggestions, no “let’s figure this out” attitude—just a complete brush-off. As a customer, I expect a manager to go above and beyond, especially when it comes to resolving an issue that could easily be researched or escalated. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and unimportant. It’s disheartening to be treated like my time and loyalty mean nothing.
