I AM BOYCOTTING THIS THRIFT STORE.The new manager victoria is a mess. My service dog which I carry when in a store was approached by a " trained service dog that a woman had on a long leash. Her dog crossed the 5 feet i had left between us because i saw her dog was not properly trained and my dog snarled and barked a warning to the supposed service dog that was sniffing at his tail. The manager told us if they bark they have to leave and can't come into the store with my service dog. Then preceeded to tell people that my dog nips and bites which is an absolute LIE. I have been socializing my rat terrier mix since I rescued him at 6 weeks old. He has been trained to assist me and works as a therapy dog with thise in rehab and nursing homes. We have been coming into this store every week since his rescue. Never were we treated like this. The volunteers ask where he is if I don't have him with me. They all love him and he loves interacting with them. I am assuming that Victoria's own small dogs are unpredictable biters and that she Is projecting her dogs behavior onto my dog. She has shown herself to toally lack Christian values. If you wish to donate to a thrift store with a food pantry in South daytona I would highly recommend the White Chapel thrift store and food pantry. I have seen first hand how they treat the least of these with real Christian compassion unlike what I have witnessed at our...
Read moreThis USED to be one of my favorite thrift stores, but I think I'm done. The prices on a lot things are crazy high. A piece of craft wood is $8.00. A used mini-blind repair kit missing parts is $5.00. A chipped turkey platter is $15. A used, broken dresser is $300. These were all free donations!!!
The ladies in the sorting room kill me. While you are looking at items, you can't help but hear them complaining about other employees. God have mercy if one of those ladies go to the restroom...the others start disparaging her!
Today was the last straw. I was standing up front, next to check out. The male cashier waved the guy behind me to come up. I thought he was just going to ask a question, but NO. He checked out!!! I said "excuse me. I was next in line," and the cashier said he didn't see me. Terrible store. Awful people. Go to...
Read moreThis is a true thrift shop. They have all the items you may need for your home and family like kitchen appliances, dishes, glasses, pots and pans. All size clothing and in great condition (some are brand new and with the original tags). Shoes, books, electronics, furniture, jewelry and so much more. The store is clean and well organized and the prices are thrift prices. They are always having sales too and you can get a full basket of clothing for $10 or $20, and believe me, you can fit a ton of clothes. This is a great place to take donations too because they don't mark up items as much as other...
