PostNet — Local services in South Hill

This is NOT the place to go if you need a notary. The absolute worst service I think I have had in a while from a business. The girl was extremely rude. I needed a notary and was told because it wasn't an "official" notary form she could and would not help us. Not only that, she decided I was not worthy of being polite. I explained it did not need to be an official form as the company just needed someone to verify a signature before it was faxed to them. But miss rude decided I needed to leave and go somewhere else. So I did just that. I called UPS on Meridian and the girl was exceptionally friendly. She told me, as a notary, she had a stamp that could be used on ANY form or paper to make it "OFFICIAL". We had the form notarized and faxed in no time. So thank you, Post Net, for wasting my time!

UPDATE There was no outburst. I was very direct and insistent, asking her to explain to me why she could not notarize a form that clearly said that it could be used to notarize the authorization I needed to send. This form was directly from the Washington State Department of Licensing. I'm not sure how much clearer this could be. The employee became rude and very unprofessional. The manager was not present, so I presume heard the version through the employee. Your employee is lying, and they do NOT know what can be notarized. Train her better please. As for me, I will...

This is the best, most caring, and greatest problem solving, shipping store I've ever dealt with!!! I had such an awkward, heavy piece of art that needed to be shipped. First I came in for quotes to 6 different European countries. Reamy was so kind, and offered me every option, all the prices, and gave me pointers on shipping international. Then I had to go back a little later and get a new quote. This time Genny helped me, she was also so nice, and jumped on the phone to see what the best quotes she could find for me. Finally shipping day came. Erin began helping me, also calling around to get the best pricing she could for me. Her and Genny teamed up, on my behalf, and got me the best shipping price, and options possible. I also had them pack the piece for me, and no air-filled piece of plastic was spared!!! Genny did an amazing job of making sure that ever vulnerable part of the sculpture was reinforced, and overall made sure it was such as could be in it's box. If you have to send anything.... ESPECIALLY something of importance, go to this store, and have them take away...

PostNet has been one of my most wonderful experiences related to businesses that I frequent due to their unique services. but I have found that they are much more than just a business, but rather more of a family that you visit, where they always remember your name and are glad to see you. And whether visiting for a moment to pick something up, or time is spent talking a bit about life, every friendly kind welcoming staff member I always makes you feel that you can stay as long as you'd like. And part of what is amazing about this environment, is that the friendliness is very real not just part of the training, as all of the staff treat each other as family also, and that can be felt every time I am there. And as far as services go, they are very efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable, and always assess your needs very thoroughly to make sure you get the services that are best for you.
