Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Washington

-Signs around the store requiring mask: GOOD -protection barrier around cash register: GOOD -3 employees working with 3 masks: GOOD -Actually using the masks: BAD

This WAS our go-to store. We frequent this BR at least a few times a month for the past 3 years after we moved to Puyallup. Friendly staffs, good locations and always a treat for us to visit. If we did not get such good services from prior times, this would be a “0” star review.

I was in the store yesterday to purchase some ice cream for my wife, like we did the handful of times the past few months. Things was going good like usual until we saw an employee wearing her mask under her chin - full mouth and nose exposed - laughing and talking with another employee - while facing the ice cream. This doesn’t make me feel comfortable at all! With our current pandemic environment, we should all do our part. We should feel comfortable going into a business and KNOW that it is a safe place to spend our money and a safe food handling environment. Laughing and talking while facing the ice cream with no additional protection in between is NOT safe food practice! If this is done with customers present, I can’t imagine what happens when there’s no one around. It might just be a simple lapse in forgetting, but this is not the first week the employees had masks on - the employees have had it for the past couple of months - so it just makes me feel like the employee are not taking the health of everyone in the store seriously. Prailines n Cream is my favorite, just had the rudest service from this guy there today 06.06.17 named "Tikki", First he had a "Restroom out of order" sign on the door and the restroom was perfectly fine. I purchased two scoops on a waffle cone. The cone was staler than bread (seriously) so I asked "Tikki" when will there be any fresh ones cause this one is old ? He says "there won't be any fresh ones made today. I said when was this one made ? No joke he says 2 days ago. I said "well look just refund my money then. Tikki says: You got the waffle cone so what is the issue ? Now this idiot's thinksI should be alright spenind 8 bucks on a stale cone not understanding that his 2 days old cone just ruined my ice cream. So in other words I should just deal with it. I haven't been to a Baskin Robbins in years. I use to get my birthday come here every year as a child. It was a nice treat after a long hot day at work. I had the pumpkin cheesecake today. I didn't get a cheesecake flavor a ton, but it had pieces of graham and caramel swirl throughout. It smelled like fall in a cup. It was very good. My boyfriend had a chocolate sundae and was not impressed. If you look at the menu, a 2 scoop sundae and just 2 scoops of ice cream are the same price. Sounds great, right? Except when you watch them scoop the ice cream and find that they only give you 2 half scoops in the sundae. So you get 1 full scoop....? They also sell a 1 and 3 scoop sundae..yikes!
