I go here pretty often and I have to say the atmosphere is pretty comfortable and clean. The staff are really nice, really knowledgeable and make my visits pretty fun. I have spent quite a lot of money just trying to collect Pokemon🥲, but I’d say their prices are pretty good compared to other shops that I have been to in the area. You can bring your cards in for trading or to sell and when I do, I don’t feel rushed to make any decisions. They also host some tournaments pretty often and when you buy over a certain amount you can be entered in a raffle to win some free stuff. The overall experience here is just pretty easy going and welcoming. They also sell more than Pokemon cards if Pokemon isn’t really your cup of tea. They have magic, one piece, and sports just to list a few. If you haven’t been here and want to find a nice shop to hang out and meet people and open some packs or even just to buy cards to fill your collection I’d highly recommend coming here. Thank you cards n hobby for being amazing and I will continue to keep coming here 🫶 p.s last time i visited we pulled this card( in the picture) usually get pretty good pulls. But go...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Cards and Hobby for quite some time and can confidently say that Jake and his team uphold the highest standards of integrity in their business. As a regular visitor, I have personally seen their inventory, including sealed packages and boxes, and can attest to their authenticity.
Contrary to misleading claims, there is absolutely no truth to the accusations suggesting they purchase products from Fred Meyer and reseal packages. Such assertions are not only unfounded but also unfair to a business that genuinely cares about the industry and the quality of its offerings.
The team at Cards and Hobby is highly knowledgeable, particularly when it comes to card grading, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customers make informed and valuable investments. Their transparency and dedication set them apart, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reputable hobby shop.

Read moreFirst off id like to say the one nice thing is the store front is nice and the staff are friendly. Thats where the positives stop unfortunately. Tons of reviews on here from people who do not know what good pricing is because they just dont know when they get ripped off. Gundam dropped and day 1 it was already 200% above msrp. They charged above msrp for brand new sealed starter decks and everything. Pokemon was the same. Now there are some things that are OK priced but cards n hobby pdx since there is multiple locations is a big ripoff for collectors. There are far better stores in the area who charge msrp or even just a tad above msrp that is reasonable. Shopped there once and stopped I na couple months later for packs since they get cases from distribution unlike the good stores. Just never again though. Save your money and...
