Desi groceries — Local services in South Jordan

This used to be so good, I would look forward to get my groceries here. But with the new management it’s not the same anymore. Recently I bought a few guavas and they turned out to be spoilt completely from inside. When I visited after a few days, the girl who sits at the front desk said she can’t do anything about it and refused to make up for it. She wasn’t apparently authorized to do so. I paid around $10 for these spoilt guavas. In the past, a similar issue was addressed with care and concern.

In short, this is called entitlement because the management knows that no matter how lousy their service is, people WILL stop by to buy Indian groceries because HEY there isn’t enough competition!

Update: Thanks to the owner for responding, but I have misplaced the receipt. This was sometime during April, I don’t remember...

Today , I had the worst experience at this place . Worst customer service .less quality item . I give around 800-1000$ per month business to them . I bought around 11 packs of crane vakkapadi . 10 of them are smaller and one of them was a big size . I took pictures and showed them they made a mistake in billing . Instead of acknowledging their mistake. The lady was arrogantly denies and she offers me a free prize on a coconut. I was speechless by how dismissive they are . I hate to argue . Nice little family-run shop from what I gather. I was able to find the ingredients I was looking for quickly, the price and freshness was good, and the young lady at the register was able to answer my questions about the fresh paneer I was buying.
