By far my favorite Indian Food in town! Absolutely to die for. I go here at least 3 times a month. The chicken Tikka Masala is what fuels my addiction to this place. I drive 20 minutes to go here instead of the 3-4 other Indian restaurants closer to where I live. Edit 7-20-24 I had my first negative experience at this wonderful restaurant 2 days ago. Our Bariyani came very spicy with a hard burn. Called and was told it couldn't be more mild, though we go here and order the same dishes 9.9 times out of 10. I got frustrated and just wanted a refund instead of driving back to get it remade when I was told it would be the same. Now I'm not sure if there was a struggle in the gentlemans English or what. Now I got a call from them yesterday that I didn't answer and then again today. When I spoke to the man he wanted to make it right his way. So he made us both our usual dishes and also some things I've never tried before. This time our 2 dishes (chicken tika masala and chicken Bariyani) came mild exactly how we are used to getting them! Now for the 4 things I've actually never tried The very kind gentlemen have us. 1 of them 8 almost ordered a couple days ago the Sweet Nutty Naan was a Delicious treat. The Mango Lassy made me like Mangos, generally I don't. But that yogurty sweetness was very good. The Rasmalai was good but just not for me. Now the Gulab Jamun that was amazing! I will definitely ordering that again with my meal. The 5th Star will go back on once I order again anonymously and it's done mild just like we usually get it. I'm sure that'll be in the next week or 2. Edit- ordered with a friend and everything we ordered came...
Read moreSaffron Valley in South Jordan is a delightful culinary haven, especially with its lunch buffet making a popular return.
Food: The lunch buffet is an absolute must-try and offers incredible value for money. The Delhi Chat and Samosa Chat were simply out of this world, bursting with rich, vibrant flavors. The Chicken 65 was perfectly crunchy and tasty, while the Lamb Curry and Biryani stood out with their deep, aromatic flavors. Every dish was a highlight, making the buffet a culinary adventure from start to finish. We even forgot to take pictures seeing the wide selection of food
Ambience: The ambiance is cozy, with comfortable seating that accommodates a fair number of diners. It’s a modest space that doesn’t stand out but is perfectly pleasant for enjoying a meal.
Service: The service was excellent. Our waiter was wonderfully patient, answering all our questions and recommending some great combos that offered fantastic value for money. His attentiveness added to the overall positive experience.
Cost: The lunch buffet is worth every penny, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes from starters to main courses and desserts. The Delhi Chat is an absolute must-try.

Read moreI'm very conflicted. We came in to dine right as the restaurant opened Saturday, but nothing was ready yet. It wasn't a huge deal--it was only maybe a ten minute wait--, but if you're not ready to serve customers when the restaurant opens, why are you opening as early as you do? My wife was reprimanded by the man behind the counter for choosing to eat her chicken leg with cutlery rather than her hands. We couldn't find a high chair anywhere, and no one offered us one for our toddler. As a result of this, we had a hard time getting her to sit at the table, and I was reprimanded for "letting her run around." "If she breaks the glass, sir, you'll have to pay for it," I was told. We were also watched the entire time by the man behind the counter, and we felt like he kept giving us dirty looks. I'm not sure what we did, but he genuinely seemed upset that we were there.
That said, the food was really good, and there were quite a few options I had never had the chance to try before at other restaurants. It's also a very clean and aesthetically pleasing space. I have a feeling that patrons without children who come in after the restaurant has been open for a bit will have a better experience...
