Where to start, Not Greeted or offered any sort of help upon entering w/ 2 baskets of cloths, 1 toys, & 2 trash bags of winter coats. (No, they were not busy) Entered line for selling clothing, stood there alone about 5 minutes (3 clerks within 10 feet looked over but said nothing) I viewed about 4 empty baskets (presumably from other customers current "sale to kid" transactions. Another Female customer came into line. Clerk came over and greeted her immediately and started her transaction, I interrupted and asked if I may go first since I'd been there for 5+ min already. Clerk acted perturbed by my interjection but changed service to me. Having never sold to them before, the clerk was short and rude, pretty much asked for my ID and walked off. No clue what to do I asked. Clerk stated my clothes must be laid flat and orderly, so I did. She came back after I finished, stated. In the future please wash your clothes first. Oddly I had just finished wash on everything not 1 hr prior. She received in my items. Only took 53 min. W/ some small talk and gossip and periodical stairs from the other staff my direction. I continue to walk through the store so I can item to purchase for my son. Finally went over and asked if they had finished they said oh yes we finished some time ago but they couldn't see me which I found very interesting. I came to the counter, and you'd almost everything I had brought in its entirety some of which not even touched. The court rudely stated that I needed to wash all my clothes beforehand not bring stained items or clean them and that they couldn't take much cuz they weren't buying much. I thought that incredibly interesting as well because I witnessed multiple empty baskets as I it came into the store and other customers get paid out all female. She had to be invoice stating they bought $12 with the merchandise. I had brought 118 items, received back 96. Toys were untouched all were cleaned and sanitized beforehand. The clerk was very rude. I felt as if they are partial to females especially single moms not single male fathers. They didn't pay me digitally squat yet, they kindly took 83 dollars and change from me. I started to wonder if they were biased, sexist, if I had to stand on my shirt, looked scraggly totally perplexed because I brought in items based off of their Facebook page of what they said they were buying at that moment, and what they needed most. Yeah they hardly took anything. Was this because I demanded service as first come first serve as it was supposed to be? I was polite the entire time. So I decided to just take my items to another kid to kid another day and not give them my business. Probably going to another kid owned by a different franchisee, almost the exact same thing happened. The court has a preface stated that I needed to wash my items in advance. Upon return of all most all my items with a cash out of nearly nothing, she stated that my clothing should be looked over for stains ahead of time. That's funny there were no change in my items, what's even more funny, 36 items I had purchased a kid to kid at the last store and still had the tags and left them on just to see if I was not treated equally and I was discriminated against. I was. Poor show. I'm convinced that kid to kid, has an underlying scheme that sells back clothing to only female customers and that it's a racket and they're getting the kick back of short or taking items and not giving their customers back what they should. Because in the second kid to kid I brought 96 + 36 items, so 142 items. They stated they were able to buy 18. However when I counted my items there was only 82. Kid to kid you are running a racket. South Jordan in salt lake your female clerks are sexist, bias, dishonest, thieves, and definitely not the image you are trying to portray. Hopefully one day you will get back to what's important just people whether they're men or women. Hope you guys go bankrupt...

Read moreCustomer service was terrible. Staff told me it would be in my best interest to leave while they did my buy as they were very busy after I had already been waiting for over an hour. They verbally told me they would call me when the buy was done so I could pick up the money they owed me. I left because I was told it would take a long amount of time or I would have stayed. I had no way of knowing how long they would take to do the buy so therefore I was now waiting for a call as promised. I was never called and therefore the money went to store credit. Two weeks later, I realized no call was made and wondered if the buy had happened so I called the store and spoke with the manager first and then the store owner. I asked for the cash instead of the store credit since they had verbally told me to leave because of the waits and that they would call me and that had never happened--I was never told when the buy was complete. Management was very unprofessional and never once apologized for the fact that staff had told me something and then did not follow through. Instead the owner of the company proceeded to tell me how he runs a 70 million dollar company and that he was unapologetic for his staff. He told me that I am just one customer and that what happened to me didn't matter. A little kindness and good customer service goes a long way in my opinion and I will certainly do...
