Horrible, horrible experience. We ordered a breakfast burrito, a Deluxe Combo burrito, and a small fry. The prices were far too expensive for a small burrito and like 7 French fries. Total came up to $14. The lady at the window interrupted us constantly and wouldn’t let us finish our order before she would ask a question—each question one we were already going to answer in the order itself. It’s terrible service.
We received our food and I opened up the Deluxe combo burrito, which was just pathetic. I don’t usually write reviews and frankly, I believe it’s best to give the benefit of the doubt because I understand that working in the fast food industry is taxing. However, that does not justify giving your customer an inside out, half-folded tortilla with what looked like vomit for fillings. Beef and cheese was slathered all over the outside of the burrito, and everything was spilling out already. I recognize that sour cream can make things soggy, so you fix that with more dry ingredients to balance it out, but there was absolutely no lettuce, tomatoes, or beans. I literally got a tortilla with sour cream, cheese, and beef. The beef had these little hard bits that you couldn’t chew.
Despite needing to practically hold the ingredients together with my hands—I would’ve eaten it so as not to waste the $5 the burrito cost, but I could not force myself through the monstrosity that they thought was perfectly appropriate to give a customer.
Never going there...
Read moreTACO TUESDAY! My kids love it--heck, we all love it. Now that my youngest two are teenagers we can go through a lot of cheap tacos. Usually I go in to order, but due to the current restrictions we ordered 28 tacos through the drive-up one blissful Tuesday night. This was a very pleasant experience with friendly people working the window. We didn't count the tacos before we left, but when we got home and started handing out tacos we came up 9 short. No big problem, call to let them know what happened and get the others on the second 9 1/2 mile round trip. Problems started mounting--no answer when I called. Instead, I just went back with the receipt and explained, to a different young lady at the window, what had happened and asked for them to finish filling the order of 9 more tacos. The attitude of the girl at the window was at best poor customer service and more akin to calling me a liar. When she came to the window to deliver the tacos, I thanked her for helping me--she never made eye contact and closed the window quite abruptly, trying her best to ignore that I existed. I am struggling with the star rating, wanting to give it a 2 but, in all fairness, will probably settle with 3 due to the better (though incompetent in math) service I received on the front end. 4 stars to start, 2 stars to end; meet in the...
Read moreI love some Del Taco, but this location really struggles with getting orders right and understanding what's on their own menu. Today I ordered breakfast rollers and a cheesy breakfast quesadilla taco. That's what was confirmed at the drive-thru and what I was charged for, but instead I got only hash browns with my rollers. No quesadilla taco. Another time I ordered a Dulce de Leche shake with my food. They confirmed the order at the drive-thru, then when I got to the window they asked what kind of shake I wanted. When I said Dulce de Leche the guy looked confused and said they don't have that anymore (it was still on the menu board, and I had one a couple of days before and a few days later at other locations). He asked if I wanted a different flavor, but I said no, just take it off the order. They never gave me a total or a receipt, so I have no idea if I was charged for it or not. I've had several coworkers order (plain) crispy chicken tacos and the employees seem like they don't know there's a plain one on the menu. They've literally had to order a ranch crispy chicken taco, hold the ranch. On more than one occasion. I try to avoid this location, but unfortunately it's the only one near some of the...
