MOD Pizza — Restaurant in South Jordan

As a single guy, this is my go-to pizza place in the salt lake area! I love how you can get any toppings you want all for just over 10 bucks! One of the best dinner deals around! I love the thin, bubbly, wood fired style crust (not sure if they use gas or wood ovens but it's great either way) and I love getting a combination of the white and red sauces. There are a couple things that can be improved though... The more toppings you order... the less done the crust will be. I always have to ask for extra well done crust and it sometimes still isn't cooked enough and seems undercooked in the middle. Also, some of the toppings, like mushrooms for example... get cut into pieces that are far too large to be cooked properly on the small pizza. Please make sure you guys are adjusting your cooking times if someone orders a lot of toppings.... and please cut your veggies a little bit smaller so that I can start ordering mushrooms again! One more thing... The pizza prices are great... but I personally would never pay 8-9 bucks for a side salad... I usually go over to smiths right next door instead to grab a 3 dollar caesar bowl and that saves me like 5 bucks. Other than that I love this place! Try the balsamic glaze on top if you...

I would have given a great review in the past for the salads 🥗 being worth every bit of the price but, when I went inside with my 7 year old to eat today the guy whom I assume was the “manager” made my salad and I may as well have asked him for a tablespoon of each topping because that is what I got. I felt like it was fair that I ask for a mini salad to go for free because I just paid over 11 dollars for a salad that wouldn’t fill up my kid. So, the same guy was rude to me bringing it to his attention and asking for a comped mini Ceasar. Luckily one of the other employees overheard and responded kindly and said that that it shouldn’t be a problem at all. whilst the manager rolled his eyes and tried to say it wasn’t actually ok to comp the salad but then begrudgingly made it as I took my daughter into the restroom. I came back out of the restroom to find him talking rudely about me to another employee. I smiled and said that I really appreciated him making me the mini salad and left and I won’t be returning. I typically order through the drive through but usually end up waiting quite a long time at this location. I always notice them helping the in store guests first. I decided to try an online order this time as I was in a hurry with a shortened lunch. I placed my order and even gave it 5 minutes past the arrival time to pick up, knowing they run behind sometimes. When I went up to the line she said, oh yours is next. Then she proceeded to place my pizza in the oven. I asked how long it would be and explained it should be ready by now. She told me another 10 - 15 minutes. I sat and waited. When they called my name the gentleman cutting the pizza I don't think noticed I was sitting right at the bar. He SHOOED a fly off my pizza that continued to land on it. I watched him pick a couple of pieces of something off the pizza with his bare hands. When I opened the pizza it had bell peppers scattered on it. Like maybe they had spilled or had accidentally placed and tried to be picked off. Needless to say I ate 1 piece of my pizza as I was so disgusted as well as out of time for lunch.
