Island outfitters — Local services in South Kingstown

I purchased a pair of We the Free jeans last week ($98), wore them once and washed them per the care instructions. They came out of the wash with staining everywhere, predominantly where the stitching/seams are, leading me to think the thread bled. I have contacted the store 3x, whose policy states they don't accept worn & damaged items because it can't be re-sold. Well, hello, I can't wear them again because they are DEFECTIVE and one shouldn't expect you can't wash a pair of jeans. Free people won't accept their item purchased from an independent store.

Bought a pair of size 11 $20 “new” reef flip flops as advertised before Christmas. Flops were dirty and appeared used. Questioned the girl at the desk who assured me they were new. Whatever for $20 still a deal. Flops didn’t fit. When compared to my current reefs size 11 they were definitely a full size smaller. Asked for a store credit and was told they were a final sale. No exchange for a bigger size.Nothing they can do. Shop local but definitely not here. Hope you enjoy stealing someone’s $20 cause you won’t be around in Wakefield...

Extremely poor customer service!! Would not exchange an item for proper size, within exchange period after Xmas. Also, would not issue store credit. I can’t believe a business would choose to basically steal your money with all the options out there. I tried to keep it local but this will not be on my list anymore....
