revised review for Breakfast*
We recently tried the new breakfast menu, and our initial impression is that the menu is certainly ambitious, but some of the menu items We’re a bit on the heavy side for breakfast. Nonetheless, it’s certainly a unique experience, which seems to be what they aim for.
I highly recommend trying the breakfast items, but for some it might be a bit too fancy...
Attention to detail”.
The stars should speak for themselves, but here is the more in-depth explanation:
It’s absolutely clear that the owners of this establishment invest a profound amount of time and energy into training and MENTORING their staff and holding them to a superb standard of service and of course attention to detail.
The front of the house we staff, from the host or hostess, to the wait staff and the bussers: every single interaction is Matt with professional courtesy and in many cases accommodation. The presentation of the order is always done with precision and accuracy, which I appreciate very much.
The products: whether it’s a quick sandwich for lunch or at dinner spread out over a couple of hours, each plate is prepared again, with intensive care and of course, attention to detail.
I have been coming here since they have open, but I have recently become a regular and I have started coming in here for lunch. I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the bartenders and the various weight staff, and from what I can gather there is a very good relationship between the owners and those whom they employ. Is also clear to me that there is a great deal of time and attention devoted to their training in the maintaining of very high excellent standards of service and conduct and professionalism.
It is with great pleasure that I bestow my highest endorsement professional and dedicated staff here at chophouse grill. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service and presentation I’m such a finally crafted product, as well as the mentoring that goes into it.
The only true recommendation that I have would be to consider tablecloths for the dinner to “soften” the room/atmosphere. I am usually in there for lunchtime, which is a quick and informal affair. Most of the tables seat four; table cloths would be a nice touch and make the setting that more intimate.
Commendable job folks, extremely well done.

Read moreIts 12/26, so we called ahead since we had 10 people. They asked regular or high table, my mother said regular(we had 2 people with bad knees). We got there at 12:30, only a few cars in the parking lot. They seated us, but unfortunately, the room put us in had no heat. It was 57°. We told the waitress & the manager tried to turn it up, but it was broken. We sat with coats, gloves & hats on. We asked if we could move up top, but they couldn't accommodate us. The manager brought a space heater, which helped 3 of us, but at least he tried. Our waitress was alone, doing her best. One of us was on lunch break, so she asked if her sandwich could come out with the soup. The kitchen said no, not possible. Seriously?!? Since we were waiting so long, she was only able to eat 1/2 & box the rest. And, by the way, it's gone from 57° to 56°. We asked if there was a possibility of getting some discount since we froze the whole time. We were told no, because they offered us the high table. Well, they didn't offer that once we sat down and we told them it was freezing & to put the heat on. And, we couldn't do the high table because of the bad knees. We would have had to split up or leave. Sad, because it could have been handled much better. Being locals, we try to stay in town to support our businesses. Needless to say, we won't be going back. ps- Pay cash or you'll see a credit card upcharge on...
Read moreAn actual 4.5-star review but there is potential for it to increase to 5 stars.
While reservations aren't required, they are encouraged. During peak season you'll fare better by making reservations. Call or create online to select your time and party size.
For parking, there is one way in and out of their parking lot along a busy traffic route. When weather permits, there is outdoor dining, high tops, and bar seating.
I waited until after my second dining experience to write a review. Good food and drinks each time. Service although short staffed was not an issue. On each visit, our server was kind, informative and gave the vibe that she actually wanted to be there.
I found the portions to be filling and the price point appropriate despite the rise in so many items due to the pandemic. Some areas inside are better lit than others but it's a good date night vibe. Plenty of televisions if you want to grab a drink and catch your favorite sporting event.
The most recent implementation is the 3% fee to pay by credit card. So unless you keep a lot of cash on you, be prepared. I appreciate the servers properly wearing their masks. The kitchen staff, however, not so much. When looking into the kitchen from my table, some had no mask or were not worn properly.
If in the area, I would dine here again and recommend it. High potential...
