PetSmart — Local services in South Middleton Township

This store don’t even deserve 1 star. I went in last night to get my son a couple fish for his fish tank, the one female employee was helping us and when I told her I wanted to get one of the fish she asked if she could come back in a minute I said yes no problem. She brought back another female employee that was very disrespectful and sarcastic proceeding to tell me that I needed to buy a 40 gallon tank for that one fish so my mom said the fish could go to her house where she has a 55 gallon tank and the girl said she could decline us from buying a fish. Fast forward we started looking at the little tiny goldfish that I was going to get 3 of for our 10 gallon tank and they told me they could not allow us to get three of them. Meanwhile I’m looking at probably 200 goldfish in a little tank with multiple dead ones on the bottom and the male employee that came back due to all the ruckus proceeded to tell me there in there like that because there considered feeder fish so I asked if there considered feeder fish why am I being told I cannot buy the ones I want for my sons fish tank and he said how many did you want I said 3 and he said oh no not in a 10 gallon tank I said but you have no problem allowing over 100 in there to just die. This store will NEVER get another cent of my earnings. I will NEVER recommend anyone to go there. The amount of disrespect there employees show is sad. What’s even worse is when your three year old son looks at you when the second female employee was rudely speaking to us and said mommy she’s not very nice and I said no she’s being very ignorant and she laughs in our face and said I’m being ignorant haha no this is my normal voice right laughing to the other employee. We DID get fish for our fish tank but not from them and I will never return to there...

I'm not sure why we purchased fish at Petsmart I knew better but $20 later we were on the way home with 4 female and 2 male guppies and my kid was very excited to watch her fish have babies. They were properly acclimated for 1 hr before going into a 5 year established tank with very few fish fatalities in fact our fish survive much longer than they should. I left the light out on the tank for about 2 hours. When I turned it on they were all swimming around and I noticed babies already! Out of my 4 females 2 were pregnant and 1 gave birth. By the next day we were down to 5 fish. The next day 4 then over 2 weeks down to zero. So lesson learned Petsmart fish aren't properly segregated to prevent pregnancy and they all died within 2 weeks unfortunately we missed to refund window because I had to travel for the holidays. On day 13 we were down to 1 and she passed over night the day I left. The other two fish we had prior to adding the guppies are fine they are 5 year old Glofish. I brought my 16 week old puppy in for an unplanned nail trim. Not a mistake I will make again. My boyfriend and I were treated with hostility almost immediately. We were informed by a rude woman that our dogs rabies tag was not acceptable proof of his rabies vaccination, that we needed to find the paper. So my boyfriend went out to our car to retrieve the paperwork, meanwhile I witnessed dogs whining and pulling on their leashes to try to get away from the groomers. I should have walked away, but unfortunately I allowed a young woman to begin the nail trim for my dog. He immediately began crying and straining to get away, we have had this grooming done many times before and he has never reacted that way. After three more minutes of this he was done with the “grooming”, and six dollars later we were out the door. It was not until we got home that I realized our dogs nails were not even slightly trimmed. If I could give this store less than one star I would, TAKE YOUR PETS TO...
