The in-store employees were unable and unwilling to help me. I went into the store because last month Comcast raised the price of my Internet again and I called the phone number on the bill last month and spoke to them for about 45 minutes and the customer service person even send me a text that I had to check and send it back in order to get a better cost for my Internet. So I thought it was all worked out but that was not the case. So I get my bill today and there isn't a change to the cost of my Internet. At the store today the employees pulled up my account and showed me I had no notes on my Xfinity account since May 2024. Later I showed them the text from Infinity that I checked off and returned and they still seemed not to believe me. The employee said I probably talked to a scammer. I questioned this because I called the phone number on the Xfinity bill. Why would a scammer be answering Comcast phone number? I asked what would the "scammer" get from doing this and she said my bank acct information. So from this I question if Xfinity is giving access to their system to scammers. The person I spoke to on the phone didn't ask for any acct information and I didn't give any financial information so I'm wondering if this is terrible customer service or Comcasts way to continue to collect another month of overpriced Internet? The in-store employees today stated that Xfinity had no discounts or promotions for an existing customer only new customers. I ask if I could close my account and start a new account to get a discount and was told that this is fraud. I would question if the real fraud being committed isn't being done by Xfinity who continually raise their prices after a promotion period is over. Basically customers are all paying different prices for the same services. I said that I didn't have a choice then but to try a new company and the employee stated that if I did that I'd be back because other companies Internet didn't have what I needed because I work from home sometimes. I was also told no manager was present when I ask to speak to one and that discounts and options couldn't be given in store only on the phone (which she previously said was being manned by scammers) which makes me question then why have stores and why is Xfinity hiring scammers to cover their customer service lines. Well we will soon find out if she's right because I do feel I was given no choice but to get my Internet elsewhere not that this terrible...
Read moreMy husband and I both bought new Samsung cell phones at this store. We've never had trouble with our cell phones' performance until now. First off it took 2 trips to the store to successfully activate my phone. Then after a couple weeks my phone began to split all group text messages and then not download them. Texts would not send, and I did not receive important messages from family members. I took the phone in. The fellow spent about a half hour trying to figure out what was wrong. He couldn't resolve the issue, then he installed a different text app and I went on my way. It began again a couple days later. I took the phone in again, and another fellow tried to figure out what was wrong. He changed the text app back to the original one. Next, after initially pairing with my car's audio system this phone would not pair. Tried my old phone- no problem. I took the phone in AGAIN. The fellow said it showed it was paired with CAR. (When I went back out to the car it was not paired and I still got the "will not pair message" in the phone. It may have actually paired with an audio device he had.) Another guy then appeared from the back room and said it was outside the 14 day window so there is "nothing they can do." REALLY? I said it was a lemon and they should stand behind what they sell. The guy (Chris) pointed to a bowl of fruit and said (I kid you not) "Those are lemons. That is a cell phone." Cute, really cute. So know that my spouse's phone is fine, none of these problems. I know how to pair bluetooth devices. I would not recommend this store to anyone. While one of the employees is a straight shooter I am doubtful of some others. How many times are you willing to go back for problems? Try another store....
Read moreGoing into the Xfinity store in Carlisle, PA is always a horrible experience. No one ever knows what they are doing and needs to “get their manager”. This evening we went in to upgrade our phones based on promotions we had seen. The 3 young men working in the store had no idea what was going on to the point that I questioned if they were actual employees. The one guy walked around and read the tags next to the phones to see what the promotions were. All 3 of them were going through computers trying to find what the promotions were. They had no clue. One of the 3 appeared to give up and walked into the back room. They finally determined that the one we were interested in was for new customers. We were told that we could open new lines to get new phones. We both use our phones for work as well as personal, why would we get new phone numbers? The time we were in the store was the biggest waste of 10 minutes I’ve had in a while. Whoever reads these reviews and has the power to staff that store, please do a better job. You are losing customers because no one working there ever knows what is going on and the store always smells like...
