Urban Churn Craft Ice Cream and Desserts, Carlisle — Restaurant in South Middleton Township

REALLY rich ice cream. Quality is definitely key here. Very creamy. The Stackers (think ice cream parfait) looked really good but we got some scoops (Espresso martini and Salted Caramel) and a brownie sundae (with a scoop of chocolate). The Espresso Martini didn't have a terribly strong coffee flavor, something I usually like in a coffee ice cream. The Salted Caramel was extremely good, not overly sweet which is common for that flavor.

Everything was very good but so rich we didn't finish them--not usual for me. I didn't notice if they had water there, but if not they're missing an opportunity. I could have used the palate cleanser.

Go there often past six times they haven't had the cinnamon roll sundae! Thats what I usually come for been very disappointed about that. Today I come In to get the cinnamon roll sundae and they didn't have it. So then I proceed to get the brownie sundae and they didn't have the brownie.. So then we left and the girls in the store were giggling when we started walking out the door!.no REAL ATTEMPT to remedy the situation. Very good! The non dairy selection is, without a doubt, one of the best selections that I have ever found. The ice cream is top-notch. They have specialty sundaes like carrot cake with carrot cake ice cream topped with whooped cream. They have a large variety of ice creams. You can pick up the classics or dove into something neat and original. They are always willing to let you sample. They are super kids friendly, the walls a giant chalkboard.
