So my HOA decided among themselves to hire this company with really low google reviews. There was a repair request for our deck near the ocean. Obviously in Florida you cannot put regular wood near the water or on the ground, due to subterranean termites. The pictures clearly show that they used the wrong wood for the repair. I called the office and told them to stop repair, Becky spoke to the fella and he continued to work. I mentioned the wood being the wrong material , he said he would go to the local hard ware store and pick up a small piece of pressure treated wood for the repair. They left and snuck back on the property and didn't see me looking right at them from my upper deck. I called for a second time and sent an email to the office :Reconfirmed with Jashmine at the office and she said the email was received and sent to our manager Maggie. I requested to stop payment and have them come back and do the repair properly before payment. WE had a makeshift meeting last night and she was told again and our president paid them anyway, unaware of the mistake... What a joke. They do not care what you want .. When they get your money they do what they want and not what is best for your property. I have made several calls and sent emails and no reply. Can you imagine hiring someone and they ignore your requests? We have a severely damaged seawall .. This company is not pushing the board to act on the structural engineering report regarding the urgency of the repair... Another let down that they do not suggest that our property should act.

Maggie should be more supportive of the people who pay her. and should listen their customers. The wrong wood was never addressed. I think they don't want to be responsible for what they do if it is going to cost them money. They should have never paid that company for the repair.. I sent three emails and made 4 phone calls. obviously if they were professional would have made an investigation and fired that guy. Too sneaky for me. If I could give zero stars I would! MC Homes is completely useless! As a condo owner they work for US - we don't work for them! Zero communication, when you call the office they say they will make a note and you NEVER hear back from anyone! I've been trying to get an URGENT issue of rodents causing damage in my home resolved for a month and have heard from Maggie 1 time after multiple attempts to contact her via phone and email! If this were her home I guarantee she would have this resolved by now! If you are looking for a management company RUN FROM MC HOMES! I don't see how they stay in business - literally, the worst customer service I have ever seen!

Convenient how you can't respond to multiple phone calls or emails sent but immediately respond to a negative google review! While I understand the impacts the hurricanes have had on many in our town to include the one coming and what devastation is yet to come, MC HOMES WAS NOTIFIED ON 9/13 WAY BEFORE ANY STORM EVER HIT (Helene hit on 9/27 a full two weeks after notification)! This has been an ongoing issue for YEARS! You've been made aware by multiple owners that setting traps is only going to catch what is there not keep what is out there from coming in! Residents have had to endure the cost themselves for a problem that is happening in the attic and on the roof! Brantley and Sons are amazing however all they do is set traps! THIS ISN'T SOLVING THE ISSUE! They are still coming in! Pictures to show some of the damage made to my home and only 2 of the 6 rats caught while more continue to come in and cause more damage until holes on the outside of the building are handled! I have half dollar size holes in my PVC piping! I can’t use my kitchen sink!

I am absolutely HORRIFIED at how MC Homes is handling business at our condo in Madeira Beach. We are experiencing the most severe termite infestation I have ever witnessed. Yes, it’s swarming season, but the lack of urgency and human empathy is unacceptable. My fiancé has been reporting this since April.

Every single day, we wake up to hundreds of termites, dead and alive, throughout our unit. They are in the refrigerator. I find wings in my toothpaste. I have to wash and dry my clothes every single time before I wear them because termite wings stick to everything. I can’t turn on lights in the evening or watch TV without them swarming toward the screen. My family heirloom furniture is ruined. They are literally crawling and flying in bed with us every night and I have to sleep with a pillow over my face to keep them from landing on my face.

The response from management? A small pest control company that sprays, only for the problem to get worse. This isn’t just inconvenient, it’s unlivable. The building clearly needs to be tented, yet they refuse to take this necessary step.

This is a termite prone area, and a few surface level treatments are NOT going to cut it. The infestation has reached a level that is not only unsanitary and mentally exhausting but possibly structurally dangerous. I’m genuinely concerned about the long term safety of the building. If this is the level of neglect that continues, it’s not far fetched to worry about a tragedy similar to the Seaside collapse in Miami. RUN and do NOT rent or buy if this company is managing the...
