Psalms' Gourmet Brittle — Local services in South Pasadena

Absolutely LOVE this place and the family is as sweet as the brittle. We first discovered Psalm’s brittle when my husband was working at a co share office and they had samples in the community kitchen. He brought some home for the family to try and we’ve been hooked ever since. Carlton, Pslam’s son is about the nicest, funniest and most personable person you’ll ever meet. We always looked forward to seeing him at his booth selling around town. We are over the moon happy they have a shop front now!!! It’ll make picking up Christmas gifts for friends and family a breeze. Everyone who we have introduced to their brittle is HOOKED.

My personal favorite is the almond chocolate coconut brittle but honestly there isn’t a single flavor that I’ve not liked. The new packaging looks amazing, the new flavors are fantastic and the fact that it’s all local and home grown goodness makes it even sweeter.

I ordered the sample pack and the free sample—all were delicious. I can eat almost any brittle, but pecan is my favorite! Second favorite was the mixed nuts, and lastly, the peanut (only because peanut is not one of my favorite nuts). I know pecans are not cheap, but I wished that they could have been a little larger like the size of peanuts and almonds. The pecans were almost finely chopped. Maybe because I had the sample pack. I ordered the mini 5 assortment pack. Wow wow wow is all I can say. It's definitely easy on the teeth. I was thinking that it would taste different if it didn't have the stick to your teeth hard crunch. It tastes just like brittle delicious in every way. This is my first time having chocolate coconut brittle, it tastes very good and I don't like coconut. The only negative I have is that the shipping took long. I had forgotten that I ordered it. I ordered on Feb 29th and received it on March 13th. With that being said I would definitely order again and again. Thank you for making this...
