Got to say, I've heard a lot about Duluth Trading Company and their reputation proceeds themselves. The location just opening in Greensboro, NC and was looking forward to checking it out and was very satisfied with the quality of their products as well as the customer support and service of the staff and Managers. When they first opened I purchased and wore the Duluth Ultimate Firehose pants with intent to use them with the additional green utility belt accessories that includes the use of the knee pads inserts, tool belts and bags because of the type of construction work I do. I put the product to the test and found that they were very durable and held up to the practical use that I had hoped for. The only issue I had turned out to be problematic when using the knee pads inserts. The length of the pant was slightly off, while wearing the knee pads they continued to fall down to my shins instead of knees when kneeling down while working with the full tool kit and belt being worn. I came in explained the situation to the staff and they all responded with genuine curiosity and interest in resolving the issue and helped me ever step of the way by listening to my description of use in the field as well as the product itself. We looked at everything, the different styles and sizes of Firehose pants, the rise and fall of the crouch, the knee pads in and out, everything. They worked with me every step of the way and replaced everything and even replaced my belt buckle that came apart during use. Duluth is known to be a little pricey but as far as quality for the heavy wear and tear construction work I do I couldn't ask for anything better. Not to mention the amazing assistance and customer service I received from the staff at the Wendover location in Greensboro. Bottom line, I would recommend this to anyone I know if they are looking for a high quality product that will last as well as a valued quality of customer service that you simply can not be happy to work with. Couldn't be more satisfied and I look forward to continue giving them my...
Read moreThis used to be the only place I bought clothing. Decent quality, true to size fits, kind of pricey but normally worth it for the items. Until I was 2 months past my 1 year “no Bull warranty” when that is exactly what I received a pile of bull. I had the main closure button pop off a pair of Duluth flex fire hose pants… I thought, that’s fine I have the receipt I’ll swing into the store so I did. The guy who was at the counter told me the warranty expired and asked another worker for help. Margaret came over and said the return policy is one year no exceptions. I pulled up the return policy on my phone and where it says “ After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don’t perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right”. Margaret told me that the policy is one year end of story and that she did not care what it said online, told me to get my stuff off her counter. I asked for a manager (which I NEVER do and normally complain about folks who do) but it turns out Margaret is the manager, so again I was SOL. I went to my truck and called Duluth who informed me that the I could send them in for inspection but I risk never getting them back if they deem it not from a flaw but suggested I have a store check them. I told her that Margaret wouldn’t even look at them and she said she won’t override a stores decision so again I was SOL. In short, their no Bull policy is just that….Absolute bull spit. I guess it’s back to the web to find a real retailer whom will stand by their product and word. Good luck Duluth, it was cool to the max….....
Read moreWe have been planning to check this store out and finally got the chance. When you first enter you see a well restored 1950 black Ford 250 pickup which really caught our eyes because we each have our own antique cars. Then you look beyond the truck to see the expansive size of the building filled with every choice in clothing for man or woman. I was in shopping heaven. Of course, I went immediately to the women's side of heaven and my husband went to the men's side. I found a couple of items, one pullover for gardening with pockets and a sleeveless tank top that was the perfect color. My husband found a couple of short sleeved shirts with pockets for his phone. Then I found the perfect Father's day gift: a nice looking lightweight shirt for him to wear when we go out for an evening. We also found that there's an area with dog supplies and another area with camping supplies. Suffice it to say,...
