STAPLES COPY CENTER LOST MY PARENTS WEDDING PICTURE WHICH WAS THE ONLY PICTURE I HAD OF THEIR WEDDING!!!!!! 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND I NOW HAVE NO PICTURE......VERY SAD AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF SYMPATHY ON THEIR PART
My experience at Staples the South Portland store has been a nightmare. Started ok until when I got the invites I never rec'd the original picture back! I called as soon as I got home and they then found it. I asked that they hold it as I was going to have banners made for the party. When I went in to order the banners they could not find the original picture. They told me they would look for it and call, I rec'd a message saying we search but can not find the picture Sorry have a wonderful day!!!! I still have the message on my phone as a reminder of their uncaring attitude! My day was ruined after receiving that call. I returned their call and told them the importance of the picture and I heard no remorse in the woman's voice (Samantha) only that she told me that she wasn't going to speak to me because I was upset and speaking loudly. I was told if things are left after 20 days they get shredded, even after I had told them I was doing wedding banners for the party with their store. Read moreI've been using this store for a very long time, i am a business owner and like to buy local to keep money in our community and locals employed. i came in the other day to purchase a new all in one printer and toners, when i finally got to the register i was hit with the usual questions about staples rewards and extended service contracts. i was polite and low key when I refused what was being offered. I had told him at least 3 times that i was not interested and i would like to pay full retail and leave because i needed to get back to the office.I might as well have been talking to the wall because hey continued to run his mouth about the benefits of the service contract that I already told him I wasn't interested in, very pushy and zero regard for my time or for my request to just pay and leave. I then just left my printer at the counter with him and left the store empty handed, once back at the office I got online and ordered what I wanted hassle free...
Read moreWe were helped quickly. Associate was knowledgeable. The product wasn't available in the store, so it was ordered - to be delivered at our home in two days.
However, we didn't realize that if we weren't going to be home, we needed to print off a form, fill it in and leave it for the FedEx driver (giving permission to leave it). This information was in the email that stated the order had been placed. If this process had been brought to our attention, we would have taken care of the form.Due to this situation, we may have missed the delivery and now have a period of time to wait.
