Average across the board. Cold sauce for the mezzo sticks is unsettling.
Previous Visit: F:4 S:3 A:2 Seated in the far rear right of the restaurant. This area has approx. 12 tables on a tiled floor, and no booths. It was mildly busy, but no wait at the door. Food arrived! I normally get the same Big Steak Omlette every time I go here. Today, there was more cheese on my omelette than the last 3 visits combined. It was rough. My son got a triplestack of pancakes. It looked like two, so we flipped it over, and the one on the bottom was compressed into the middle one. He peeled the bottom pancake off and it was disturbingly CrUnChY. My sensory child nearly had a meltdown. As my poor little guy is trying to soldier through his "pancake rock," there is a sassy job-hating nose-pierced young female scraping and slamming chairs around, muttering swears under her breath. Collectively in the party we have two cases of anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD all fully triggered. Then the check came. Wow, how bad is your app!? Please let people save payment info. Even if it's client side per installation. There's nothing worse than having a full on triggered PTSD moment while your child is losing their mind, you're trying to just get out of the restaurant, the server evaporated, and the silly stupid app to pay on your own is making you enter your credit card number three times because it doesn't just keep it from the last 17 times you used the app to pay. Grrr and a half, people!
Last Visit: F:4 S:4 A:3 Food options were pretty impressive, with a lot of foods that made you want to go back and try more. The server was kind, but forgot a couple of things that should have come with our meal. At the end of the meal I was presented with someone else's check (signed), and my own as well. There was another server who was standing in view of all the customers who was shouting personal details of their life loudly while we were trying to enjoy our food. It seemed obtrusive and ignorant. We couldn't really even talk to each other over the volume of the employee... it was LOUD. I now know why she will never drive into the city. She's afraid of parking tickets, and the traffic, there are so many people in the city that it makes her uncomfortable and she doesn't want to deal with it. There are memory banks in my head that can never be overwritten because...
Read moreThis is one of my husband and I favorite places to get breakfast! Usually I Hop has great food and great service! We ended up with a waitress who had no filter, acted very unprofessional and honestly should not be a waitress! We totally understand that people do have bad days but as you read further on you will see why we made this statement! The reason why we rated this visit so low is because the waitress forgot some of my husband's breakfast! The breakfast that he did receive was cold ! I asked for more cream for my coffee but never got it! As we were waiting for our breakfast to arrive we heard a little old lady across from our booth explaining to the same waitress she was not satisfied with her meal and service. All the waitress could say "oh I'm sorry for that." Then people in the booth behind us were talking, on how the service is poor here and on how some of their breakfasts is still missing and what they do have is cold! They were getting the same service as the little old lady received! The same service we received! The booth behind us was so disgusted with the service and waitress that they did not leave a tip for her! When the waitress came back to clear the table she noticed that customer's DID NOT LEAVE A TIP! The waitress was so furious and so loud that everyone in the I Hop could hear her! Then the waitress started discussing it with the other waitresses, who were working near by and again she was very loud so everyone could hear her! Then she finally decides to bring our check over and starts discussing " how the people in the booth behind us didn't tip her!" "How terrible it was that they didn't tip her, she works so hard!" As the waitress was talking to us we were both were thinking....... A waitress or Waiter tips are based on good service! Hot food! If you do forget some of the customers food then make sure all of the food is Hot! Not COLD! A good waitress or Waiter will always come back to the table so see if the customers need anything else!!!! We did tip the waitress but not as much as we would usually tip for good service!!!!! We love IHop so much we would like to see an IHOP move into the...
Read moreMy mom and I decided to go here this morning for breakfast. We got an older lady and she immediately had an attitude like she could care less. She asked what we wanted to drink and I asked if the cold brew was sweetened, she told me no that they didn't have syrups for coffee but told me the cold brew had French vanilla in it. I said okay. She then disappeared until our food came out. And then we never saw her again until it was check time. She never asked if our food was okay, never asked us for refills, never asked if we wanted any condiments. I also put my drink at the end of the table and she never came over to ask what was wrong with it or to see if she could do anything. Fast forward to the check, I asked if she'd take the drink off due to it not tasting like French vanilla and not liking it due to the bitterness. She said "I can't take it off just because you don't like it" with the worst attitude. The manager came out and informed me they had syrup he could get me to sweeten it and I informed him how the waitress informed me otherwise and she never came to ask to help or anything the entire time we were there. The food was delicious but she was a horrible server. Gave us drinks, food and the check. Never came by for anything else. Meanwhile the other servers went to their tables multiple times, like you should. I don't even care that I had to pay for the coffee, because the manager brought me the French vanilla flavor. It's the lack of customer service that is making me...
