Very disappointed in management. I went with a group of 17 the day after thanksgiving. I made sure that each family member knew what they wanted before ordering, and we all ordered in a timely and organized manner. When the cashier turned to the cooks to say, “23 patties”, the manager looked up and said “23 patties?! Really?!”, with a very disgusted look. I said, “Yes. 23 patties, we are a large party”. She came around the corner and told me that next time I come, I need to order online. First off, this was not a planned trip to five guys. We were out Black Friday shopping, got hungry, saw the Five Guys and stopped. Second, we were a very organized group. I made sure that things went swiftly and easily because of the size of our group. Third, there were about 10 people behind us. Would it have made a difference if our group ordered and paid separately? No. It would have taken the same amount of time to make all those burgers, so it’s not as if the 10 people behind us got screwed with waiting for a large order to be finished. Read moreI placed an order from the website to South Portland d location. I can forgive a mistake but not the way it was handled. My large soda was left off from my order and the person picking the order up asked oh isn't there a large Coke on this? The person said no. This error is ok. I got my lunch and at the bottom of the ticket it stated large soda. We called and was told call back in a couple of hours the manager is to busy to deal with this. This error is not forgivable. So I called back and they did at least take my name and number but told me Amy (I am assuming the manager) is too busy and she will call me back. At least I didn't have to call back at a later time this time. I am sorry I do understand mistakes happen but being pushed off because the manager is way too busy in my mind is unacceptable. If I had been in the restaurant in person she would have come over to speak to me. When I asked large blonde lady behind counter to turn down she rolled her eyes at me and did nothing! I left and went to outdoor table to try and eat. Music was so loud people were moving the tables away from the ceiling speakers. Totally inappropriate! Every part of this food order was off. Shake- disgusting over chocolate….black. Fries- they gave me seasoned not regular as ordered( busy answering the phone), burnt and gross. Burger…. Okay Every table in the restaurant was very dirty and covered in food debris.
