Whenever hubby and I are traveling I always seek out local Mexican restaurants and after reading reviews for several in the area we went with Fiesta Azteca. We got to the restaurant around 8:30 and were seated right away and not long after our server arrived to take our orders and deliver complimentary chips and salsa. After reading several reviews ranting and raving about the seafood chimichanga I decided on that while hubby went with the Steeler burrito and we both ordered margaritas. While we both enjoyed our drinks it didn't seem like they contained very much tequila, but my pomegranate mango one was quite tasty as was hubby's raspberry, just would have liked if they were a little stronger but overall a great deal for $5.50 each. I am a huge chips and salsa fan but theirs were just okay, if the chips were a little thinner they would have been much better but as is they were thick and a bit hard, I prefer a thin, crunchier chip and in an authentic Mexican restaurant I also expect them to be served warm but on the plus side they did give a large portion of both the chips and the fairly spicy salsa that I could faintly taste fresh cilantro which I love. Hubby really loved his burrito and I have to say I wish I had ordered that, it was filled with perfectly seasoned beef, mushrooms, onion and peppers and was huge. My Seafood Chimichanga was a bit of a let down, maybe in total there were 3 small shrimp and minimal crabmeat that was imitation at that, definitely not worth the price. We sat indoors and I really love the decor, very festive and welcoming, but there is also outdoor seating out front and it looked like they also had a patio. At the end of the day it was nice to be able to eat in a restaurant again and the entire staff was practicing safe...
Read moreWent here because El Patron wouldn’t answer their phone. It was almost $17 for one enchilada supreme meal. I gave them a $20 bill and told them to keep the change. I always get two chicken instead of beef with the cheese and bean enchiladas. With white queso cheese sauce instead of red enchilada sauce. I luckily started to eat my meal before I left and they made all 4 enchiladas chicken. I took it back in and the manager (I think) said sorry about that told me I could keep the four chicken enchiladas and he’d remake my order give him 5 minutes. I live 45 minutes away so I asked if I could use the restroom and leave the meal up at the counter (because why would I take my food into the bathroom). I went and did my business (just took a couple seconds) and went back out to the front counter. My bag with the 4 chicken enchiladas and chips was gone. I asked the manager when he reappeared if they threw my meal away, to which he replied yes. About 8-10 minutes later he brings my correct meal out. Meanwhile I have groceries sitting in the car and I would’ve have eaten the food that they stated I could keep (I had already started to eat it in the car). I was kinda irritated because I felt like the 4 chicken enchilada I was told I could keep compensated for my time being wasted. But I guess I’ll take my correct order and go home. The enchiladas were small compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Next time I hope El Patron answers their phone. This place doesn’t live up...
Read moreVery disappointing. We came in, sat at the bar, waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. Not even a “we are a bit busy tonight just give me a couple of minutes.” We asked if we could have a rag to wipe off the bar. It was thrown in front of us with the disinfectant. We did finally get a drink but wasn’t asked if we wanted to place our order for food even though we had menus in front of us. When we asked someone about one of the drinks that was watered down with water (suppose to be Tito’s on the rocks) another server stepped in and would not listen to our complaint. This server became very defensive while we were explaining the problem. We had not been drinking, we were not yelling or even stern in our tone. There was no reason for her immediate defensive attitude. We then went to pay, the manager was at the register and he would not even look up at us while we were trying to explain the situation. All he did was keep his head down, said they were busy, and he wouldn’t charge us for the drinks. That was great because we couldn’t get food because apparently they were “ too” busy to help us. The seats next to us at the bar were occupied twice while we were there. Sorry but how were those people taken care of and not the three people sitting for 30 minutes? We went here because of the great reviews I have read about this place each time I’ve had to stay in Uniontown for work. I was looking forward to...
