My son started this center last year, he was 1 years old first time in school. This center was very unorganized which I previously worked with kids for years and it was always something, under staff or overstaff where MAIN teachers was sent home or to another class from personal experience the adjustment period for toddlers should be with the same teacher rather than switch around that's inconsistency, also one day I received a picture my son eyes was so puffy as if he was crying for a very long time, PER POLICY if the child is not easily redirected I was supposed to get contacted, I was not also my son caught COVID due to the inconsistency of teachers and him being placed in a OLDER class which he should have not been. some parents may not take that serious but I do . Miss EVA and Miss Danielle was amazing my son took them but he was swapped around everyday which does not make the adjustment period easier for him or me as a parent. The directors Lindsey and Kylie was not helpful at all with the situation of my son eyes, they basically told me his eyes was puffy not due to crying. which I been his mom for over a year my son has seasonal allergies that his eyes don't even get puffy like that instead of completing proper protocols they basically argue with me that he was not crying for awhile, which I know he was and they did not make me feel comfortable at all. which is why I removed him from that center. They are very unorganized and is not parent friendly at all. They became aggravated and smart mouth when I did call and inquire about my son, but if I was comfortable I WOULD NOT CALL AND CHECK IN. I Would not recommend this center to anyone unless your child is with Eva or Danielle. Also Sarah who is the supervisor was VERY RUDE VERY UNINTELLIGENT AND VERY NASTY !! I chose this center due to reviews and when I did tour I thought it was good, but was not . they was rude to staff treated staff as slaves, will make staff work when they are not feeling well which is not safe to the current...

I am a parent who will be pulling my child out of this toxic child care environment immediately. The upper management at The Learning Experience of South Windsor is utterly appalling. They allowed a parent to spit on the management team without any disciplinary action and continue to let parents yell at and disrespect the staff. This creates a hostile environment that is not only unfair to the employees but also unsafe and unprofessional for the children and families attending.

They do not take any parent complaints seriously, and the facility is consistently out of ratio, which is a major safety issue. Furthermore, staff members are not allowed to take proper breaks, leading to overworked and exhausted employees.

To make matters worse, they fired management staff and then turned around and yelled at those who stepped up, expecting them to compensate for the work that the previous director did not allow them to perform. Lindsey and Patricia have done an outstanding job managing with minimal support from upper management, doing their best to keep things running smoothly despite the challenges.

I do not believe children should continue attending this establishment. I urge parents to look elsewhere for quality childcare where their children will be in a safer and more supportive environment

UPDATE: They allowed said parent and child to attend the end of year summer party after telling me they are handling that situation. It just shows how appalling this place is and how quick they are to lie to parents!

I can’t say enough good things about this daycare. The teachers are truly compassionate and dedicated. My child’s teacher, Ms. Maria, is absolutely amazing — she’s empathetic, nurturing, and genuinely loves the children. I can see how much care and attention she gives to my little one every day, and it brings me so much peace of mind knowing my child is in her hands.

The curriculum is top-notch. I’m constantly amazed by how much my child is learning — she now understands and waves “hello”! Her language skills are developing beautifully, and it’s such a joy to watch her grow.

They also respect and adhere to each child’s plan of care, which means so much to me as a parent. The facility is always spotless, and my child comes home clean, happy, and well cared for every single day.

The management team — Trish, Paige, and Ms. Kay — are phenomenal. This is one of the few centers where you’ll see managers step right into classrooms to help teachers whenever needed. They’re always present — walking around, holding children, helping feed them, and providing real hands-on support to staff and families.
