Worst Customer Service Ever!!! On 3/19/17, my husband and I went to Old Navy at The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk, 801 Evergreen Way, South Windsor, CT 06074 # (860) 644-9292 to browse. We came across a table of different jeans that stated Price Drop $11.99. I grabbed about 6 pair of jeans to purchase. When we went up to the cashier, some of the jeans did not ring up at the $11.99 price noted on the table, even ones that had the red tag stating $11.99. We told the cashier that the jeans were at a table that clearly stated Price Drop $11.99. She had an associate next to her verify the price of the jeans. The associate who went to check the price yelled over to her and stated yes, do an override on the jeans they are $11.99. The cashier who had little experience in doing an override called over another individual, who I believe was the manager on duty, young brunette Caucasian women, to help her to an override. When the manager came over she said not they have to be marked. I clearly pointed out the ones that were marked and still ringing up the wrong price and told her that the other associate went to verify the price on the other jeans not marked and yelled over to my cashier that yes they are and to do an override. The manager would not give us the price of $11.99, instead kept arguing that they needed to be marked, even though the other associate told my cashier, yes to do an override. I walked over to the table of jeans and grabbed another pair of the same jeans pants and told her these are all $11.99. She kept saying no they need to be marked. I walked over to the table of jeans with her and showed her that there was a table full of different jeans that clearly state Price Drop $11.99. As we were walking I told her itās not the customers fault if things are not where they are supposed to be and she stated well itās not our fault if people just put things anywhere. When we got to the table of jeans and I showed her all the jeans and the sign, she still argued and stated no they have to be marked. She was very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. She clearly does not have any customer service skills. I became so upset over her lack of professionalism and disrespect I told my husband to tell our cashier to cancel the purchase and walked out of Old Navy and will never return to shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCustomer service was poor, upkeep of the store was poor, cleanliness and organization of the store were poor, and the general vibe that employees had were poor. I needed to exchange two pair of jeans that were purchased as a gift, I walked in and went to the rack of jeans to have to dig through piles and piles of unfolded clothes and jeans to only find out that my size was not in stock. Fine, I'll just return them and order the correct ones online (because, let's be honest it's winter in New England and who likes to go out in the cold). Once I finally got to the counter the clerk was unappreciative and provided the worst service I have had. I informed her that I needed to return the jeans but was hoping to exchange but could not find anything because of the clutter. The response given was, "oh well, sorry. Consider ordering online." The return was made and I then proceeded to walk out the door. Before exiting the store completely, I then decided to go back into the store and take pictures for everyone to see the current status of the store. I will be reaching out the manager of the store and their corporate office. Being in a supervisory role in a retail grocery store, I have experience in customer service, management, and store operations. The management team should be appalled by the store and their employees. I don not know how this Old Navy continues business with the poor service and upkeep of their store. Needless to say, they will not have a return shopper...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to go school shopping today around 12:30pm. Showed up and saw they movedā¦no sign, no nothing. I call, they said they moved (which is what I thought) and that they are opening at 2pm. OK, Iāll shop somewhere else and take my time. I head over for 2pm. There is a sign on the door that says they will be opening on Wednesday, August 24th sometime in the late afternoon. There are other people waiting to go in and visibly upset with the way things are being handled. Multiple people are standing at the GLASS doors and you can see employees inside. NO ONE acknowledges us. A teenager employee in a truck ends up driving by with their parent and stops to tell us all that they will be opening at 3 instead of 2. We thanked her for stopping. But, why tell people on the phone 2?! Iām sorry but this was handled very unprofessionally!! Not a great time to do this during tax free week in CT with back to...
