Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in South Windsor

I’ve been here several times and almost every time theirs a mistake with my order it’s usually minor like missing my pearls in a drink when I pay extra for them, regular sugar when I ordered no-to little sugar. Today I placed a mobile order for a Honey green tea large regular sugar. I came in a few minutes before the estimated order time and the cashier asked what name my drink was under I tell her and she double checks with me about my name as I see her coworker find my made drink on the counter with two other drinks. It looks right but she reads the label and throws the drink out using the same cup, I mention to the cashier girl if something was wrong bc I have allergies and would like to know what drink was in the cup if she’s going to reuse it. She looks at her coworker and tells me it probably got mixed up when they were busy which I understand but she didn’t tell me what was in the cup before. The other girl remakes the drink and I leave when I take a sip it’s the most bitter drink I’ve ever had here. Like a lemonade with no sugar and green tea. I even double checked I ordered the right thing (honey green tea) and their shouldn’t have been lemon in it at all I could see the pulp in the drink. Not worth it for a 7...

Went there to try the new location, been going to Kung Fu tea’s for years starting in GA. The location is small, no big deal. But we went and the line was of people waiting over 25 minutes for their orders was insane. I went up, ordered a coffee milk tea with Boba, also repeated myself. I paid. I received my drink 15 minutes later there was no boba, I asked about it, they blamed me and said I didn’t order. As a new location you’d think you’d want customers to not be made out to be wrong. I also watched them do the same thing with a girl ahead of me, who ended up not giving them a hard time. I pushed back however stating I did request boba and it didn’t really seem like it is ok to push that back on me as the customer. So what I assume to be the manager said “this time we will do it, next time you must pay” I won’t be going back here. I’d rather drive to west Hartford where service was...

My girls got the Barbie Pink-ade and Dream Swirl drinks and those were great. Another also got an Oreo Slush and that was good too. My husband and I got the Dubai Chocolate Wow, while he was ok with it I was not. It literally felt like I paid for a cup of chocolate milk. Yeah it had pistachio shavings in it and boba but nothing great about it. Taste was a huge let down, basic. So I decided to try another drink, Pistachio Latte. Another let down. Didn’t taste the espresso but did have a chemical like after taste. cringe I tried to convince myself to like it but no.
