Edit: this is now my third effort with Cote Timeworks. And again, I find myself happy with their service. I’m a big Seiko nerd. And while I own plenty of Swiss products/options… my Japanese products typically win more wrist time. This latest example from Cote was a modified Seiko Monster auto. Some material from the case managed to enter the housing and grind the gears of the movement to a halt. The piece was found, removed, and the movement has run a beat fast which is what I personally prefer. It gains 2-4 seconds a day under normal wear conditions. Which for me is my sweet spot as a fast watch is a better watch. I cannot recommend Cote enough. They know what they are doing and they care. That’s probably the most important aspect for any small business. Thanks again for getting my monster buck up and running.
First impressions are lasting impressions. Both ladies at the front were seriously awesome. Inviting, kind, a desire to help… all the hallmarks of not just a good small business but a great small business. Hats off to Cote and their crew of three who were in the shop today. I asked for a simple half link adjustment on my grand seiko SBGA211 heritage with the summer months approaching and within minutes it was completed. While waiting, I addressed part two of my visit (a customized Seiko SKX007 built for me by a friend running rather slow and with some damage to the bezel, plus a bit of dust on the dial… can’t wait to see the end result) and in the interim my son and I browsed the shop and Ball Watch Co is officially on my radar. Had never seen one in person. Thank you for your service and dedication to such a...
Read moreI could not be more satisfied with my recent interaction with Cote Timeworks! I brought my most valuable watch, a timepiece of incredible emotional significance and a gift from a member of my family, into the shop for resizing and band repair. I requested that the watch be ready within one week before I depart for an extended period of time for business. Not only was the job completed properly, but it was done four days early. The business ordered a part from the manufacturer and requested expedited shipping in order to exceed my expectations. All of my interactions with the owners and members of the staff of Cote Timeworks were courteous and professional. I consider myself a high-maintenance customer, requesting frequent updates. All of my phone calls were returned within minutes of leaving a voicemail, and all of my inquiries were answered satisfactorily and without hesitation. I recommend Cote Timeworks to anyone who wishes to experience customer service of the highest caliber and extreme attention to detail in the...
Read moreNot a fan of them adding 20$ to a service, that I had already paid in full weeks ago, during pickup. How is it that you can tell me the full amount, I pay up front, then you tell me the watch is ready for pickup, then during pickup you say I actually owe additional money? I don’t care if it was “shipping”, that should have been done beforehand. This is, mind you, after my watch had been there since May, 2 months ago for a simple bezel replacement. Crazy. Both the ladies at the front are super nice/sweet though. Definitely a positive dealing with those two.
Edit for owner: that’s not true. I had to call and remind you guys to even send an email to the company requesting the part. Then I had ti text and remind AGAIN. That’s why it took so long, not because anything was on back order. Screenshot of one of the multiple times I had to remind them my watch was waiting to be worked on. So I had to keep on you guys to even get the repair done.
Edit AGAIN: hey guys, your “repair” lasted a month. What a...
