Been a customer here for quite some time, and it's really hit or miss with how things go.

There's a few guys who clearly love what they do, make you feel welcome and really create a good experience time after time(and the reason I keep coming back).

I drove an hour each way specifically to put a Ulysse Nardin GMT on layaway. The gentleman I spoke with last time was dealing with a customer when I got in, so I casually browsed while I waited for him to get some time.

There was a woman there who wanted to show watches or something, I really don't know what she was doing to be honest, but she didn't like that I was waiting for the guy I have dealt with literally every time I've come in to browse, and he was the one who pulled this watch put to show me after speaking about my personal tastes and collecting interest. said they could work with me on layaway and I was all about it.

Instead of getting to deal with the guy I wanted to, she insisted on showing me the watch after I politely explained multiple times i was waiting for the other person to assist. She couldn't read the price label conversion code and had to ask the other gentleman every question I had. Apparently it went up $350 since I last looked at it, which didn't bother me as much as the rigid layaway terms she stated that added up to 140% of the cost of the watch I was looking at. At that point I just left. I literally felt like I was begging to buy this thing and she wasn't selling at all. Just an absolutely clueless human being. Would've been my most expensive watch purchase yet, really considering taking my business elsewhere for my next piece at this point though.

Update:dealt with Case today 3/2/22 and added some stars back. Was a pleasure to deal with. Sometimes we all have off days, glad...

Place has poor service! I literally dropped off a 1 oz gold bar on March 31st 2021 to have it made into a pendant so they said it would be done by april 15th which was 2 weeks later. They call me within a week and tell me to come In so they can size the bail to my necklace so I come by only to find out they ordered one from somewere instead of making mine custom like I’m paying over $1000 for and the one they ordered me is only $300 on apmex.com and it only weighs 3 grams of 10 carat gold! So I told them I don’t want that and I wanted mine custom made then they said ok sorry about that we will have yours made custom in 7-10 business days. Here we are now it is may 6th and I still have not recieved my charm back I called Wednesday may 5th as a employee told me it would be ready then and I was told that it would for sure be done by may 6th which is today I would get a call as soon at it comes in... we’ll guess what I still didn’t get a call again today I’m so over doing business with this place. If you want to be charged $1200 for 3 grams of 10k gold and wait over a month for some service this is the place. Ps I have don’t plenty business with joe and his brother at the gratiot location and they never treated...
