LOVE these salad in a sandwiches! I eat there at least once a week. My last 2 visits however have been pretty lackluster on the customer service side. With only one customer in front of me, even after they were done making that food, it took FOREVER for them to make mine. The girl making it was too into laughing and talking with her friends behind the counter to bother. And every single employee acts as if they could give a rats behind if you are there. I did call the manager after I left to complain, and she was very apologetic, but apparently no real improvements were made. On my 2nd visit in a week I walked in and stood there, and stood there, and stood there. No customers except a couple eating already, 2 employees on the floor, one behind the counter, the other cleaning tables, and neither addressed me in any kind of way. No hello, no someone will be right with you, nothing. The manager then came out and made a sandwich for someone in the back before saying anything to me. I mean, the sandwiches are THAT good (although a bit pricey) that I will likely return, but they really need some customer service training. A simple acknowledgment would go a long way.

Oh, and the program they have to collect points for free sandwiches? Forget it! You have to use the same credit card each time or it does not register, they can't even include when you pay...

I can’t speak for the quality of the food because I’ve never tried it. This review is specifically for 3rd party delivery apps such as Uber eats and DoorDash. I’ve been delivering orders from this location for a little over a year now. 9/10 times I get into the restaurant after driving on average a couple miles to pickup the order, I find that the order hasn’t even been started by the staff. They are always very friendly but that’s aside from the point. As a delivery driver I represent the customer and the orders shouldn’t be skipped to accommodate guest ordering in person. At the bare minimun the restaurant receives the order request at the same time I do. It isn’t right for guests using delivery apps who pay an inflated menu price, delivery fee and tip on the app to have their order pushed aside. The orders should be made in the order they are received. Every single driver I have spoke with always puts bread zeppelin in southlake at one of the worst places for pickups because of the excessive wait times even when they aren’t busy. Again this has nothing to do with any specific employee. They are always nice. But the stores procedure...

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is awful. The first time I tried it was about a month ago and I did an online pick up order. When I got our salads home I discovered I had paid over $30 for literally just lettuce and dressing. They didn’t put any of the toppings or protein at all. The bread was delicious, I will give them that. Anyway I called and the kid who answered was like yea I can’t help you you’ll have to call back when a manager is working. I don’t have time to track down a manager so I just let it go. Tonight we decided to try it again since the bread was so good but went to order it in person so that hopefully it wouldn’t be just lettuce. It was still 95% lettuce. They straight up didn’t give me the chicken but charged me for it. The croutons were stale. The ranch tasted rancid. My salad was so gross I didn’t eat it. Again, another $30 down the drain. I’m not even going to waste my time complaining to them because I’d rather just come on here and tell everyone in southlake that they should go to Salata instead of this...

It’s interesting how the younger generation thinks it’s appropriate to tell customers that they will get mad if you order something to your specifications. I asked one person on staff if he could chop the salad because in the past, that was the way it was done. I haven’t been back to Bread Zepplin for a while and noticed they didn’t chop the salad last time I ordered. The young man behind the counter made a point to tell me that even though he won’t get mad about it but his coworkers might because the dressing was already on the salad. So, a suggestion to management is instead of ā€œtraining customers,ā€ the staff should be trained to ask customers if they want their salads to be chopped before they put the dressing on the salad. Other than that, the salad is good and first person who took my order and cashier were both polite. I’ve always enjoyed the food here. The dining room could have been cleaned up better during down time. There was food on the floor.

Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday, got the Mertopolantin Cobb bowl and my husband got the Pacific Beach zeppelin. My salad was okay. I didn't care for the chicken. It was dry and bland. But everything else was good. Next time, I'll definitely get a different salad. My husband loved his sandwich. He said the bread was the best part. The sandwich didn't get soggy from the dressing, he also thought it was very filling. They also have a nice selection of dressings to choose from. Price is kinda high but the portions are nice. You get what you pay for. The line was long and extremely slow so expect to wait a while.

First time here and I was not disappointed. The concept of a zeppelin (salad stuffed in hollow bread roll) was totally new but it’s a pretty good idea. Easy way to get a full meal with protein, veggies and carbs. They have lots of set orders but can also build your own with their wide variety of veggies, proteins and sauces/dressings. Only disappointment was that both their iced teas are unsweetened. Wish there was a sweet tea option as well. Will definitely be back to try more flavors.
