BEWARE of Jared’s Jewelry in Southlake – A Costly and Frustrating Experience
I want to share a very disappointing experience I had with Jared’s Jewelry in Southlake involving a TAG Heuer Carrera watch.
I initially brought the watch in for repair. I spoke with a rather odd salesperson who told me they don’t do repairs in-store, but they could send it off. I agreed, and after several months, I received a call saying the repair would cost around $1,000. I approved the repair.
Months later, I picked up the watch and saved it in my safe as a graduation gift for my son. Seven months later, on the second time my son wore it (to a family dinner), the hands literally fell off the watch.
I returned to Jared’s, explained the situation, and was shocked when they told me there was nothing they could do to help. This was a $6,000+ watch, and I had already paid them to fix this exact problem. I insisted they send the watch back for review.
Several months passed again, and they came back with a new estimate of over $600 to repair the same issue. I told them to send it back and decided to take it elsewhere.
Thankfully, I found Garner Wallace Fine Timepieces & Jewelry in Keller, TX. Their team was amazing — professional, kind, and honest. They had the watch ready in just 4 days, and when I went to pick it up, they told me, “No charge — it was an easy fix.” Unbelievable!
Final Thoughts: AVOID Jared’s in Southlake. They wasted nearly a year of my time, charged me over $1,000, and failed to do the job properly. I highly recommend Garner Wallace if you value quality service...
Read moreI recently had the privilege of working with Victoria at Jared to create a custom ring, and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience from start to finish. Victoria's dedication, expertise, and attention to detail made the process seamless and enjoyable. From the moment I walked into the store, I knew I was in good hands.
Victoria's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. She took the time to listen attentively to my ideas and desires for the custom ring, ensuring that every detail would reflect the sentiment I wanted to convey. Her knowledge of jewelry design and materials was truly impressive, and she guided me through the entire process with utmost professionalism.
Throughout the process, Victoria maintained excellent communication, keeping me informed about the progress of the ring. Her transparency and commitment to delivering a flawless piece of jewelry were evident in every interaction.

Read moreSales folks here will only provide attentive service until you make a large purchase. After that, you will have to chase them down to get updates on your order. Even after they tell you "let me check and I'll get back to you tomorrow". Not to mention, they will get your order wrong.
But the biggest red flag with this store is the deceptive sales tactics to sell you a diamond warranty. Telling you you must buy the $799 FLCPP warranty or else your diamond is not covered if it falls out of your setting. Well, here's the interesting part - when you buy a diamond, it already comes with a warranty. You just have to do the in store inspection every 6 months. The ring "warranty" they sell you is just buying gold work for the ring.
I dont think Jared's knows about Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Who knows how many people got conned with scare tactics telling them the diamond will not be covered if you dont buy the $799 warranty.
*Note for the store mgmt, I already spoke Sherry about this issue and deceptive selling of the diamond warranty...
