We had an outstanding experience at mesero- one of those meals where everything just clicks, from the service to the final bite. First off, the service was top notch attentive without being overbearing and our server was knowledgeable and welcoming from start to finish. We started with the duo appetizer with avocado tipico- a simple yet delicious combination made even better with the white queso. The textures and flavor flavor balanced beautifully. The chips and trio of salsas that came with the meal were a real highlight. Each salsa had a distinct personality- some bold, others more subtle and bright. It's clear a lot of thought went into crafting each one. My wife ordered the daily fish tacos featuring blackened cod. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The accompanying sauce brought it all together without overpowering the freshness of the fish. I had the El Miguelito which was a satisfying and well-rounded plate. The standout was definitely the brisket taco- rich, tender and packed with flavor that tejano enchilada and chicken enchilada cremaqueso added their own unique notes, both delicious in their own right. The macero slaw on the side was incredibly tangy and refreshing cutting through the richness perfectly. Every dish was plated beautifully with vibrant colors and a clear eye for presentation. The creativity and care in each dish truly elevated the entire experience. Will definitely be...

I honestly don’t know how this place has the reviews that it does. The only positive thing I have to say is that our waiter was very attentive and kind. The seating is so close to each other I was basically sitting with strangers. Every time staff would walk by they would bump my chair. The drinks were atrocious. I had the Paloma, my husband had the Mezcal Mule. My paloma tasted terrible, and my husband drink tasted like smokey dish water. The chips were so saturated with oil that it was more like eating a chewy stale tortilla than it was a chip. We ordered guacamole, and it was basically a flavorless mashed avocado with maybe 4 slices cherry tomatoes to make it look pretty. I ordered the Misero Carbon with chicken and when it was brought to me it just two rolled tortillas cold dry sliced chicken inside, no other toppings. I was given guacamole when I asked for queso and I was using my husbands fajita toppings so make my food edible. Every moment since we have left this restaurant we keep angrily laughing about how we spent so much money hoping it would get better that never did. This is honestly the worst restaurant we have ever been to, and it has literally left a bad taste in our mouth. I’ve never thought it to be necessary to write a review before, especially a bad one, so this is a first. Don’t waste...

Placed a phone order at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon only 12 customers in the restaurant. Arrived at the front desk finally greeted and the host flagged down a wait staff who brought a bag of food as the host went back and forth and my food got cold I asked who do I pay? The bartender came over and retrieved my card took it back to the bar area. While I watched him make several drinks and my food got colder and colder I walked up to the bar paid and checked my order which is something they should do. Loaded queso missing no chips no hot sauce I asked the hostess where the rest of my order is and if we could please have hot sauce and chips I wouldn’t mind paying if needed. She appeared frustrated at this request had no idea who should be completing the order and never said thank you for coming never checked the order for accuracy and the bartender could care less. The food was cold and tasteless and the piece of salmon on the taco was thinner than the corn tortilla the queso had hardened it was so cold - the worst I’ve ever eaten or rated. If I wanted tomato sauce with some jalapeño I can do that at home. Worst food worst service ever. I hope others don’t have to experience this. Very disappointing. I will be contacting Management after...

I first want to say that I LOVE this place. That being said, there is one thing that I CANNOT give 5 stars, and that was the "guacamole" which was not even guac. It was smashed avocado...no seasoning whatsoever...no salt, pepper and completely devoid of flair. Their tacos (brisket, shrimp tempura and the fish tempura) are all absolutely amazing. The brussel sprouts were fabulously done with mango to sweeten. The rice and beans are top notch but not the best I've ever had, honestly. Now, the drinks (we tried quite a few of them over 2 visits) were all absolutely perfectly crafted and had excellent presentation. The three salsas are absolutely delicious making this one of the BEST Gourmet Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. If they had some kind of top shelf guac, I would change my review!!!!
