Please note, this review is based on my experience. This was only the second time I've been to this showroom. However, it was the first time I visited with the intent on purchasing a vehicle. So, I expect your mileage may vary.
I arrived about 45 minutes early for my demo drive. I was pleasantly greeted by the person at the podium, who asked why I was there. After explaining and giving my appointment time, he told me to hold on because I might be able to go early. And he was right.
From this point on, my experience started to drop.
The salesperson I was assigned to did not seem very engaged. They walked me through the process, took me to the car, asked questions, and answered some of my questions. The whole time they seemed very bored and kept yawning (it was 1030 am).
Upon returning, I had a host of technical questions. My salesperson was no help at all. They constantly kept asking the other two salespeople. Eventually, one of them just took over and that is whom I asked the remaining questions to.
The entire time I was there, I got the feeling I was bothering the salespeople. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
I had some final logistic and financial questions, so I approached the desk where the three salespeople were gathered. At this point, I had spoken with two of three. This time the third person, whom I had not spoken with nearly at all, took the lead.
They went full-on super-salesperson. They were firing questions like:
Are you going to buy one? No, Why not? Is it a finance thing? If you're financing, then you need to buy now. Rates are increasing. Well, if you wait three months, you are just wasting your money. And so on...
That little conversation at the end just left me with a bad taste. I ended up going to the Dallas service and pickup center later that afternoon. I had a much better experience there. So, maybe these guys were just...
Read moreI was excited about purchasing a Tesla vehicle. I went to the South Lake location in Texas. I was greeted by a sales person with a smile. I told him that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle that was displayed on the floor. I happen to be accompanied by my husband. The sales person begin to discuss with my husband other Tesla vehicles for about an hour as I sat alone in the vehicle ( taking selfie’s) I was strongly intending to purchase. After about a half hour I hurt my husband tell the salesman that my wife is interested in buying the car. He still did not turn his attention to me. As a matter fact about 30 minutes later I hear him as my husband if he wants to make an appointment to come back to test drive the vehicle. At that time I was deflated and no longer had the desire to gather all the information that I needed to purchase the vehicle. I left the store they didn’t even notice. Call my husband on the phone and said I was ready to go. I hope the sales person learn from that experience then again...
Read moreWill never buy Tesla again! Our Tesla Car had technical issue and shut down on highway while my daughter was driving. She managed to pull into a side road while hitting to curbs. Thankfully she had minor injuries. Towing team took it to Tesla store as the car has shutdown completely. This happened 8 mths ago, we still have no idea when they are going to evaluate and get the car back to us. Tesla service team is awful and hasn’t done anything to diagnose/ fix the issues. So after a long wait I had to involve my car insurance to look into the problem and possibly fix it. We aren’t even given loner car either!! Tesla service is horrible and the worst one!!
