After searching for quite sometime to find just the right large round table for our new house, we stumbled onto Weir’s. Quite honestly since we aren’t from the area, we never heard of this place. We checked all the big named furniture stores in the area and the salespeople were all very kind and committed.
When we walked into Weir’s, we saw a wonderful large showroom with tons of options on site whereas at some of the other places, there was a lot of “look at this on the computer screen for what you may want”.
Our saleswoman was kind and thoughtful. She understood that we needed to think about many different options… and woohooo, the store had them to look at in person. And so we got just the right 72 inch round rustic wood table and 8 chairs.
Since we were on a roll, decided to continue looking for the 2 chairs we needed to add to our great room ensemble. Again, the perfect option for us. We also saw a couple of side tables as we were at it.
Now comes even more greatness. It was a Tuesday in the late afternoon and we were leaving town on Saturday. We needed delivery fast. And yup… we got everything delivered on Friday morning. The delivery people were fabulous but the table had a little ding in it but not related to delivery, but manufacturing. I was going to wait for store ours to call in, but before I got to that, I got a call to check in on everything. We told Mr Newton of the issue and he had a new table delivered the next morning before we left.
Talk about customer service… my gosh… top of the list. Quality is fabulous.
And yes, we did buy the warranty which I always decline, but if you don’t use it in the 5 years of coverage… they give you store credit. Seriously… I have 6 grandchildren and lots of activity from adults as well for possible issues. This is a...
Read moreUpdate: Customer service reached out and was helpful routing the defect to the manufacturer, however the manufacturer promised to send replacement parts and never did. We’ve been chasing this issue for almost a year and still don’t have a resolution. We definitely won’t be purchasing anymore furniture from Weirs.
Sales team was great at the Southlake location when we purchased our furniture, however we have had our leather reclining couch for a little over a year and the quality has not held up like we expected. The leather is wearing on the arms of the couch where it reclines (poor design structure) and one side of the couch is separating. We purchased the insurance and tried to process a claim only to find out that the salesperson never submitted our insurance purchase. It literally took months before they resolved our insurance account in the system. The insurance company first refused to service our claim because they said it wasn’t reported immediately. After we proved that the issues were reported immediately, they then stated the issues are not covered under their policy and it is considered a manufacturer defect. We have repeatedly called Weir’s customer service and no one is helping us resolve their mistake. Not only was my warranty claim declined after being assured at the time of purchase that it would cover any issues hassle-free, but my calls for assistance have been completely ignored. Additionally, I was promised multiple pillows with my swivel chair, only to be later accused of lying and told that I would have to pay extra for them. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with Weirs Furniture. They play the helpful very nice And when you Need them to help you really after the purchase they ignore you completely. Do not buy from weird furniture. I was happy with them until this experience when I needed them the most they ignored And they could push me away I don’t care who Take care of the warranty I purchased it from them I even called the corporate office and I cannot believe that’s the corporate office the route again pushing you away and keep telling you we gonna call you back with no call back
