World Market — Local services in Southlake

I called your store today with a simple question about whether you've received calls regarding placing online orders for Buy Online, Pick Up In Store, and if there was an issue with it. I spoke with the Manager on Duty, but instead of answering my question, she responded with, “We do place online orders,” which did not address my concern.

When I asked to speak with someone else who might be more helpful, she abruptly ended the call. I found this response not only unhelpful but also extremely rude and unprofessional, especially coming from someone in a managerial role.

I’m disappointed by this experience and would appreciate a follow-up regarding how situations like this are handled. Good customer service matters, especially when dealing with customers who are trying to support your business.

Beware of tariff bait and switch. Look at price tags, and when in doubt, ask for the current price because their prices have dramatically increased. I purchased some clearance placements where original price was 2.99 and that price was marked thru with a sharpie. so I assumed clearance price would be less. When I got home I saw I was charged 3.99 for them. Took them back and the sales associate explained they have increased prices beyond the price tags due to tariffs. There has to be a better way then tricking people into higher prices than what’s on the actual item. At least put signs up so that customers are aware that price may be higher than the...

If I could leave minus stars I would. It was my first time shopping here at the southlake store. I went there on 10/19/2024. I spent about $250 and drove all the way from Denton. The most rude people work here!! The blonde lady heavy set lady and the manager (skinny lady) admitted they were so rude. There was also a heavy set guy dressed in a gold dress kept saying he didn’t work there but was walking all around the store following the blonde lady and following her orders. The manager and the blonde lady are the rudest people! I’m never coming back...
