Five Below — Local services in Southlake

Zero stars. 1 employee in the whole store at 2:15 pm on a Saturday 8/19/23. The only option is self-checkout and of course the two items I had weren’t ringing up in their self checkout machine. I turned to the apathetic customer service lady for help and she literally told ME to go back (all the way to the back of the store) and find a different one so I could try that bar code. Instead of offering to either help or ring the item in herself for the $5 price. (really I’m supposed to work this hard to check out and pay? She works here, I don’t. ) she said I can’t leave my station. But you can stand there, and be completely unhelpful. Got it. So they close every self check out register but 1, so an employee stands next to you still checking you out at a self check out. Why?? So they can give their store a 10 rating on the survey that pops up before you get your receipt. I had to wait to check out so the employee can use that 1 open self check out lane to assist with people who DIDN'T need help so they can make sure to answer their stores...

I had terrible experience with this store. It’s all self check out with no supervision. I ended up paying for the person ahead of me for over $100.
