I went to Wade's Jewelers after having a bad experience with another local jeweler. Chad said he'd take care of me. He gave my rings to Murray - who fixed/adjusted the settings, replaced a missing diamond and cleaned (like brand new) at no cost for me. And did all this work after being a walk in right before the holidays. Also, non-previous customer.

Before going to Wade's, I went to Cape Fear because these rings were made here. We had recently gotten married and I had lost a diamond from my wedding band. The new Cape Fear owner was extremely nasty and refused to work with us. He said he'd not stand behind previously purchased/made jewelery from prior ownership.

I'm looking forward to coming back to visit and purchase my jewelry only from Wade's going forward. While Murray was working with my wedding band, found a beautiful gold necklace I purchased, in part thank you for quickly attending to us. At the time, little did I know they'd also not be charging me for the work done or diamond replacement.

I've had my engagement ring, two wedding bands and 2 necklaces custom made at Wade's Jewelers. When I went in to pick up the two custom made necklaces I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the manager. She was short and to the point. She opened each neckless individually holding them in the box. She did not display the neckless on the black velvet tray and did not offer for me to hold and examine them. She closed the boxes and that was it.
