I've had the unfortunate experience of visiting this clothing and boot store on three different occasions, and each time, my experience has been consistently disappointing. Here's what I've observed:
Customer Service: One glaring issue is the customer service—or rather, the lack of it. Every single time I've walked in, the staff behind the counter seems too preoccupied with chatting among themselves to even offer a simple greeting. It's evident that customer service is lacking here, and it creates an unwelcoming atmosphere.
Stock Availability: We placed an order for a pair of boots from this store, and this is where another issue arises. They claim to have a variety of sizes in stock, but in reality, they don't have as many as they advertise. It's frustrating to come to pick up an order and find that the size you need isn't readily available. Assistance and Wait Times:
Another consistent problem is the waiting time. It typically takes at least 10-15 minutes before anyone on staff even bothers to inquire if you need assistance. In many cases, it's on the customer to track down a staff member to inquire about boot sizes or other products.
Lack of Apology: What's most disappointing is that despite the noticeable absence of even the most basic customer care, the staff does not apologize for the inconvenience or acknowledge the service shortcomings.
Product Selection: On a positive note, the store does have a wide selection of boots and clothing, particularly in the men's section. This comprehensive selection is a redeeming quality of the store.
Purchase Despite Issues: Despite the service issues, it's worth noting that we still bought our boots from there because they were able to ship the boots we wanted to the store. Interior Design:
The interior of the store is well thought out and visually appealing. It adds a level of comfort and aesthetics to the shopping experience.
Wide Selection: The store boasts a very wide selection of current western wear, particularly in the men's section. This variety is a notable feature of the store.
In summary, while the store offers a broad range of boots and clothing, particularly for men, the shopping experience is marred by the complete lack of customer service. It's disheartening to see such a promising selection of products overshadowed by the staff's disinterest in providing even the most fundamental assistance to customers. I hope the management addresses these issues and takes steps to improve the overall...
Read moreExtremely unwelcoming staff. I promised my daughter if she helped with yard work, she could get new boots. We arrived at 5:15, they are supposed to be open until 6. By 5:35, someone came up to offer help. We explained who we were buying boots for, and the sizing and price differences between adult and youth sizes, and that we were trying to sort it out. That was fine. At 5:40, they sent a different person over to offer help. Ok. I don't want to explain this again, we are shopping, thank you. The bathrooms are locked shut at this point. At 5:45, a 3rd person came over to bother us again. At this point it's clear they want us out. At 5:50, we found two pairs, they're both great, trying to decide between them. A 4th person comes over and tells us they are closing within 5 minutes. At that point, I'm done. We put the boots back on the shelf and left. They locked the door behind us at 5:53.
They don't want people buying $200 boots in the last 30 minutes of business. So we didn't. We will buy the boots online from a different vendor.
Although the staff spoke kindly, the message was loud and clear. Sending a different staff member every 5 minutes to make sure we were done being there...
Read moreI love coming here and I enjoy the country atmosphere and the friendly staff, but today when I went in I was trying on a shirt in the dressing room and I hear some guy start yelling at the top of his lungs at one of his kids and I hear his kid scream “OW” and start crying and saying he was sorry but the guy continued to yell at the poor kid. It made me super uncomfortable. About 5 minutes later I saw a women go up and try to confront him and he pretty much told her that he didn’t care. I ended up leaving before buying anything because I was upset at whole situation. I’m kind of disappointed that no one did anything because I clearly wasn’t the only customer that felt uncomfortable. NO ONE should ever treat their kid the way he treated his. I don’t care how difficult you might think your kid can be, but they don’t deserve to be screamed at or hit or abused in any way shape or form. I don’t think it would have been a bad idea for an employee to ask him to...
