This was our first time to the new location in Spanish Fork. We had to wait five minutes before anyone even greeted us. There were 8 to 10 employees working at the time. There were a couple just visiting with each other and one texting. We were the only ones in line, there were only two cars in the drive up, and two tables with customers sitting at them. I had to continually repeat myself for them to get the order correct. We had to wait for the broccoli beef and then they only filled the little to go container halfway full. Once we got to the till I asked the employee to please fill 3 cups each of sweet-and-sour and teriyaki sauce. He only filled one each and I had to ask again to please fill enough for each plate that included a teriyaki chicken that didn’t have the sauce already on it. I had three coupons that were for one free entrée with any plate. I read the coupons before we went to the panda express and nowhere did it say you could only use one coupon per visit. When we went to pay they said we could only use one so I insisted that they ring each plate up separately. Seriously...what is the difference. The first receipt was for $6.25. The second receipt was for $9.48 and the third was for 7 something. When I asked him why it was a different price he said that they were different sizes of entrées. I had him open the boxes because they were all ordered as a three entrée plate. Sure enough they had labeled them wrong. So then he had to readjust everything to make them the correct price. It took forever to finally get checked out. I decided as I got into the truck I better check the order. First off they really need to work in their proportions. Second they messed up on everything and they were missing 2 of the entrées in 2 of the meals. I went back in and instead of just quickly grabbing the food that was missing they had to look at the recipes (remember I had to ring them all up separately) and decide if they had messed up or if I had. They finally gave me the food and we headed home. When we got into the house we began to unload the food and guess what?!?! They didn’t put any of the sauces I had asked for several times into the to go bag. I wouldn’t have worried about it but the teriyaki chicken just isn’t even close to be eatable without the sauce. I had to drive the 4 miles from my house to get it. When I went in and told them what happened they just grabbed the containers without a bag and went to hand them to me. I just stood there and finally asked if he could please put them in a bag for me so I wouldn’t drop any. I finally made it home and had pretty much lost my appetite. Not to mention Panda just isn’t that good cold. Now I am generally not a tough customer to please. It takes a lot to anger me and I ALWAYS leave a tip even when not expected. I not once was rude or raised my voice when telling them my issues. But this Panda Express location really needs to work a little harder to train their employees and work a little harder on the “The customer is always right” motto and at if something goes as wrong as it did with us, try and make it right. I’m not sure we will go back. Just all around a bad...
Read moreNormally I don't have anything bad to say about Panda Express, but today was horrific! I took my granddaughters and son there to pick up dinner, we were all tired so we went through the drive thru. We got someone right away and asked for a minute. During 30-45 sec, while everyone was trying to decide and tell me what they wanted, we were asked twice again. Finally, after just a couple minutes we said we were ready.... no response,. We said it again, still no response. After six tries we finally pulled around in front and went in. The two cars that were in the drive thru also ended up going through the same silence. We went in and waited 10 minutes in line. The assistant manager was helping the front end so I asked him about the drive through. He blamed it on us!!! Said if we don't order within a minute the headset cuts off and acts like no one is there, or we must have moved our car off the notification pad. We didn't move while trying to make an order and that is too short of a cut off. Those with kids will understand this, and I have worked fast food management so I know this is bs. It also doesn't explain why the vehicles behind us didn't get help either. Then as we were getting our food inside the ladies in the drive thru, who stated they couldn't hear us outside, mocked us and gave us rude looks. While the food was good, the customer service and management is lacking to where I will not go back and support...
Read moreDo not order online (either for yourself or for delivery) from this location! The wait times for online orders are atrocious, and online orders are clearly at the bottom of the hierarchy. I have ordered online from this store 3 or 4 times now, and my food has never been ready at the time listed on my confirmation email. A 5-10 minute grace period is perfectly reasonable for a busy story, but this location often takes 20 or 30 minutes more than is listed on the email. Tonight, I arrived 2 minutes past when I was told that my order should be ready (they estimated 15 mintues in my confirmation email). I watched people come through the main line, eat, and prepare to leave in the time it took to get my food. I finally had to go back up to the counter and demand that my order be fulfilled after waiting an additional 20 minutes. I was also not the only one there to pick up an order as there were 5-6 others there for either personal orders or food delivery who were also waiting, and were growing more and more restless as their orders were also extremely late. Clearly, this does not fall on the workers but does show an extensive and large-scale lack of management, training, and implementation of viable policies by those in authority. The GM over this store should be deeply embarrassed, and those above him should consider looking at the training the GM has received while also considering if their management style is still viable for...
