If I could only leave zero stars . . . I went in Sunday night after church, and the cashier, who had never been properly trained, failed to greet me---no worries, I am used to such fast-food foibles.
I wanted ONLY two things: #1 A spicy chicken breast for my wife and #2 a large gravy for the mashed potatoes I made at home. (I would eat those & the leftovers in the fridge.) When I learned the price of the gravy, however, (see bottom of review---the price will shock you) I told the cashier to please take it off the order.
Next, the cashier turned to get that lonely piece of chicken and spouted, "Where is that spicy chicken, anyway?" and somebody in the back pointed. She grabbed it with tongs and put it into the box with a biscuit.
I paid, requested a bag, and my receipt (she did not want to give it to me) and I left. Later, when my wife and I sat down she said, “Where is that gravy?” I informed her that at $10.99, or more than $12.00 after tax. (She was happy that I did not buy it.) After taking a bite of her chicken she told me it was NOT SPICY, and after taking another bite she said, “This is a thigh.”
Later, I called the restaurant and requested a manager who told me to bring it back in, I’ll make it good.” She laughed and I could tell that this was an ongoing problem.
But I don’t think I want to go back . . . what HORRIBLE value for the money and what terrible service. Irony is, I stopped at the Daphne location whose sign out front said, “LOBBY IS OPEN” but when I got to the door it was locked and it was drive through only with about twenty cars waiting . . . but that is another review.
It is so-o-o-o-o-o sad, Popeye’s used to be so delicious and generous, with friendly service. It used to be my wife’s favorite (mine, too) but now they are just another fast-food restaurant on the giant TRASH HEAP of restaurants.

Had to wait for 5 minutes to have my order taken, with only 2 cars ahead of me. After placing my order (two 4pc. white, extra mac&cheese and some pies). Then I was told it was going to be about 7 minutes on spicy. I said ok, I'll wait. 2 minutes later, she comes back to the window saying "their not dropping any spicy"(wish they would've told me that before I paid $36.52). It's 8:40pm, Popeye's closes at 10pm. I said OK, make them both mild. Next thing I know the manager (a tall guy with long dreds or braids) comes to the window saying that I'm going to take all the chicken he just dropped. Guess he only dropped 8 pieces at 8 something, with another hour to go, and a line behind me. But I said OK again, just make one mixed. Finally got my food, just to find out I'm missing 2 pies. Got back in line to wait another 15 minutes, for the manager to have an attitude for forgetting pies he owes me. All the while I hear the cashier on the phone with someone saying, "all we have left, are breasts and thighs". Then to make it home to find out there was no biscuits in the box. I wish the owner would do something with this place. I will also be letting corporate know about my experience, and how their being represented...

Staff friendly when they understand you and are not busy. Not friendly at all otherwise. Good deals on app orders, but you can't get them without it. Good place for eating out occasionally, just don't go on busy days/times.
Update May 2023: I had to wait for my food in the parking lot, no biggie, until it's an hour later! So I drive around again and it's sitting right there! No one told me to drive around again, one worker said that the rest of my order was still cooking and would be out soon. Couldn't find store phone number on the receipt and the customer service link didn't work for me. ...
