On August 31,2021 I placed a moderate order for 2-rooms of new furniture. ($32,110.10). I was told then that it could be 4-6 months delivery on special order goods which I accepted. I gave them a $20,000 deposit. On December 10th, 2021 Sales Associate "Barbara Molyneux" called and said that everything for the Bedroom was in, could they deliver. I agreed, then paid an additional $6,110.19 leaving a remaining balance of $6,000.00. When the delivery came, everything wasn't there. It was short a leather recliner, a large arched mirror and the lamps. Plus they delivered artwork for the Family Room as well as the rug and pad. I wasn't prepared for that stuff so ended up storing it on my patio. Ultimately after further production delays the supposed remaining merchandise was to be delivered on May 24, 2022. When I went to pay the remaining $6,000.00, I was told I only owed $4629.11. I questioned why the difference. Barbara would have someone look into it and get back to me. Never heard anything. Spoke with Nicki in Spanish Fort to make the payment, told her of the discrepancy, and she said she would investigate. Never heard anything there either. The delivery got here on May 24th and guess what, No Leather Recliner for the Master Bedroom and missing a piece of artwork for the Family room. Turns out the Recliner was canceled way back when and taken off the invoice. That Turned out to be the $1370.89 discrepancy. Nobody seemed to know about it nor did anyone notify me, The piece of artwork they just failed to order it. It's on the invoice and paid for. So here I am, 9-months after I placed the order, finding out I have no recliner and will have to wait additional time on the artwork (It is part of a matching pair). I could have gone into many other problems I had with this furniture buy but will cut it off there. Needless to say, I personally feel this was the worst buying experience I have ever had (I'm 75 years old). Two things I can say with 100% certainty, (1) I'll never set foot in a La Z Boy facility nor (2) I will never recommend La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries to anyone and will use every opportunity to tell people of my experience. Hopefully someday in the future, I will receive the balance of my furniture (I had to pick a different Recliner) and my piece of artwork will arrive and I can close out this...

We moved into the area from out of state last June and we placed our order for a sofa, love seat and recliner in May. We were initially told that everything would arrive on a specific day in June. When my furniture did not arrive on that day, we were informed that the salesperson made a mistake somehow but they would amend the error and the furniture would arrive the following week. Sure enough, the furniture arrived but we were missing the love seat. I called again and was told that the love seat was out of stock and due to covid delays, it would be a few more months. We were a little irritated but understanding. However, a few months later, we hadn't received the furniture nor received a call about it. We called again. Our messages went unanswered (you have to always click the number for sales if you want to get through to anyone!) when we finally got through, they told us again, a few more months. It's January now and we called again... we were told that the couch was made and in transit and it would arrive at the warehouse on February 14th. That date came and went. We called again and asked for a refund and they told us that the couch was coming and that we should wait a few more days. It never came! I had to go down to the store and ask for a refund (of nearly $2000). I was told Tim would call me to verify I wanted the refund and that it could take 7-10 business days. Tim never called!! 12 business days later, we finally get in touch with Tim. He tells us he sees the refund request but that it hasn't been approved and he would look into it... They are basically refusing to refund my money that I paid almost a year ago for a piece of furniture that I NEVER received. Oh and we got the furniture warranty for all 3 pieces but the initial sales person, Megan, didn't include the love seat in the warranty like we had asked. I'm usually a pretty patient and understanding person, but the lies, the runaround, and refusing to give me my money back has been absolutely unacceptable. We will never ever buy from this company ever again. Stay far away from them if you value your time, money and expect the company to follow trough with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwful experience. Awful management. Things weren't put on paperwork and sales person said multiple things that were very misleading and/or not true. He told us our furniture would be in AND delivered to house-- At maximum-- 30 days. When we reached the 30th day and kept calling to see where our couch was, called 4 days in a row. Left two messages for salesman to call back and let us know where it was. The manager told us 4-6 weeks, then corporate said it could take up to 9 weeks. No one would return our calls, had no idea where our furniture was. We needed the furniture to be delivered, he failed to tell us about delivery fee and didn't mark on paperwork that we needed delivered. When asked about it and said we needed it to be, he said that we didnt "choose" delivery because we said it was too expensive for us. FALSE. We could afford it. Just were never told about it. I talked to manager --finally-- and tried to file a complaint. She repeatedly kept trying to get off the phone and hang up, basically that whatever issues we were having was not her problem, no compromise or trying to help, that was our fault for the problems if it was not marked on paperwork or if salesman didnt put it on. We even tried to just back out or some kind of compromise... but apparently you have to sacrifice your first born child to back out of a deal with them. It wasnt until i called corporate two times about it did i get any kind of information and thankfully our furniture was in within the next week. But we will not be back. We had other furniture picked out we wanted to get in a few weeks. We will NOT be getting any of them. Will never recommend them to anyone. From now on my husband and i are only shopping for the rest of our furniture that we need from local stores where theres real people with real a conscious and honest, not just look at us with a dollar sign over our head. Its really a shame, Lazy Boy could have gotten a pretty penny out of us. They wont get anything from us ever again.
