Went today so my granddaughter could get a free sandwich b/c her name started with the letter of the day. She's 9 and has no ID. They said, "Well, I guess you're out of luck." We explained she's too young to have an ID, and they said, "That's our rule." They then said we could bring her birth certificate instead. Wow.
When we said we didn't want to argue about a sandwich, they went on: "Well, why do you care then at all then?"
Never will go back. If that's their rule, then why doesn't Firehouse enforce it? On their own national FB page, customers said their branches didn't ask for ID for children. They could at least avoid being so rude and demeaning if they aren't going to do so.

But then one of the ride employees (girl) wants to step out from behind the counter and tell us while pushing her hands back for us to get from behind the counter. First we weren’t behind the counter and I didn’t appreciate her absolute rudeness. My family comes into this place every week, but I will make sure we use the firehouse elsewhere. Paper menus close to the entrance, so customers could see what they wanted before approaching the counter. They had some tables in front of the counter and food prep area, forcing customers to keep their distance. Plexi/acrylic glass separated customers and employees.
