Hobby Lobby — Local services in Daphne

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in at 6:45 to get posters on a hard plastic backing. I am from out of town ( 5 hours away) and came to host my best friends baby shower.

I rang the bell and this older lady said "I'm sorry, I just can't do it. I am leaving." I said "Really? Ya'll dont close until 8. I REALLY need this, I'm from out of town and I need these for a baby shower tomorrow. I can't just return these, they have names on them and their the main 2 signs." (THE WELCOME TO AMBER'S SHOWER SIGN & THE PARTY FAVOR SIGN). She was not genuine in her apology and rude and was walking away as I was trying to talk to her. I paid $50.00 for these specialty made posters ( that I can't return because they have names and dates on them) and she couldn't wait 15 minutes to do 2.... and they didnt even close until 8pm!

Talked to a service manager and she said sorry as well, that someone called out. However that other woman was still there and wouldn't wait to do it knowing my situation! I've had posters put on plastic numerous times and it has never taken more than 10 minutes. I literally started crying in the store. Those posters are important signs for a shower and I really needed them for tomorrow. I spend prolly $200 a month at my local hobby lobby, and normally have great customer service. I'm so upset and out the $50 I spent on posters that I can't even use because they came rolled...

I just love Hobby Lobby!! Always great deals to be found! Most recently, the dolls houses! They all have been reduced to such unbelievable prices! I believe as much as 60% on some or most compared to just a couple of years ago! Love the choices and selection of dolls houses accessories and furniture! They, too, are a lot less than they once were and much cheaper than most places I know of, even online! Anything from tea sets and dinner ware to lighting and flooring/wall paper and trim! Lots of cool project supplies, just about anything you can imagine to create or continue or finish a craft and/or project! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! This store was very well kept and maintained! Nicely organized and easy to find anything you are looking for! I only had an hour and didn't even get half way through the store looking and shopping and wishing! And this was my "rush it" mode! Now I want to go again to the Mobile, Al location off of I-65, since it's the closest one to me and I have 3 hours before closing! GONE SHOPPING! This is the worst managed store I have shopped. I have been to Hobby Lobby all over the country and I have never dealt with such incompetence. Every time I shop here, I have to wait in line for at least 20 minutes, even if there is only one person in front of me. I spoke to the "supervisor" who stood at the registers glaring at us customers like we are thieves and he just shrugged and apologized but did nothing to ease the line. It's been several horrible experiences that led me to never shop at any Hobby Lobby ever again. I also removed Hobby Lobby from all of the patterns I sell on Etsy and Ravelry so those potential customers won't be shopping...
