LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Daphne

LONGHORN- Daphne, AL- We visited this restaurant last night and had one of the most terrible dining experiences I've personally ever had in my life. I'm not one to complain. I'll eat a steak cooked wrong, I'll wait patiently if I see a server who's super busy and I don't go to management about anything unless it's a big deal. We waited 40 min to be sat, 20 min for our drinks. The french onion soup was barely warm and the cheese wasn't melted. Our salads were drenched in dressing so I couldn't eat mine(our server didn't even ask to bring another and I was afraid to ask bc she wasn't very nice). Fast forward to dinner (almost 40 min later) and I found a hair under my potato on my plate. So I alerted the runner, the manager came over, and a new one was sent out. The new one had another hair but a different one and it seemed to look like a pubic hair. This time it was under my chicken. Luckily I didn't eat that side of the chicken but at this point I wanted to throw up and walked out of the restaurant just in case I got sick. The server didn't seem to mind. I felt I was extremely understanding when I sent it back the first time. Even told the manager that I've been a server before...it happens. But the second time was intentional. And this experience really made me think about ever going to another long horn again. Or any restaurant for that matter. Just a completely evil act that I'm sure was a joke in the kitchen. I'm truly disgusted this morning and I hope and pray this place and this person heal bc doing things like this to people isn't the answer. Last night was our first visit since 6 months ago. The food has always been good, but last night it was excellent! However, it was greatly enhanced by the amazing customer service we received! We were greeted at the hostess station by the elegant and friendly Lauren! The place was packed, and there was a bit of a wait, but she was handling everything calmly and graciously! We took a table in the bar area to have a drink before dinner. We were promptly greeted by Joey, who very professionally and quickly took our order, brought bread, and served us right away! Perfect Grey Goose martini! (we know because our son is in the top 100 bartenders in America). Our table was ready very quickly, and we were escorted to our table and greeted by our waiter, Cameron! Such a delightful fellow! Charming good manners and excellent service! A very nice young man named Chris delivered our food and made sure we knew his name if there were any issues with the quality of our meal. Cameron was very busy with large tables, but checked on us regularly to make sure we were satisfied. We had a lovely meal and great experience! Kudos to the manager and the training! Everyone was very impressive! And our compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff! Definitely the best salmon I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned, moist, and flaky. I usually am not a fan of rice pilaf. So many times, it is dry and flavorless. But last night it was perfect and I ate every bite! The salad was fresh, crisp, with just the right amount of dressing! WORSE STEAK HOUSE EVER! IF we could give it a negative star we would. We waited for drinks, that eventually someone else brought them. Then the renegade sirloin steak was like 1/4 " and so so over cooked that my friend couldn't cut it with a steak knife! It was to be cooked med well. My ribeye was cut and looked like a ny strip. It was pure fat and gristle, another 3rd person brought that out. No steak sauce, no condiments for ffs. We requested twice condiments to never receive them. The waitress flirted with the table behind us for the entire time ! We couldn't get her attention and she was literally at the back of my friends booth back! Never could get drink refills either. When I finally did get her attention to complain about our horrible steaks, we were informed by who was supposed to be our waitress, that the most expensive steak on their menu are all grisle that all ribeyes are! So she suggested I replace it with their "flo cut filet" when the correct steak meal from the 1/4 shoeleather replacement came it was cooked rare to med rare, insead of med well. Another person brought that. She Never checked on us ! She left check never returned with to go containers per our request twice! She never tried to collect check .So we paid on line and left only to stop at hostess stand to inquire if the man there was a manager. He said, " one of them" . I said to him "we will Never return here again" he said sorry to hear that. And nothing more! We left! This was thee worst experience at any Longhorns ! Worst restaurant ever! Terrible,...
