SCHEELS PROFILES BROWN PEOPLE - 2.5 months ago, my 10 year old Black son, was with 3 other Black teens at Scheels. My son decided to make a poor decision and tried to steal a football mouth guard. He was caught before actually leaving the store and when I picked him up, they told me he was banned from Scheels until he was 18 years old. I was upset with my son but he made a stupid mistake and I’m certain will not repeat that mistake. Fast forward to today, I decided to bring my daughter in to look at shoes and I brought my son with me, because we were running errands and I assumed that if my son was with his MOM, it would not be a problem. I was WRONG. We were inside for about 15 minutes looking at the shoes, when 4 Scheels employees surrounded us, showed me the flier with my son’s picture on it, and reminded me he was banned and was trespassing. I asked if I could at least finish my transaction (I had a rewards gift card for Scheels from my Scheels credit card) and they asked me how long it would take. I was pretty shocked. Though I knew my son couldn’t be in there, I couldn’t believe they would kick out a paying customer (who has a Scheels credit card and uses it fairly regularly). My son, at 10 years, old made a mistake, but he was with his mom now and I was certain he wouldn’t steal. I asked if they treated all kids that steal with this punishment. They would not disclose. However I’m sure that an average sized small white kid would not have ever been caught stealing because I’m sure that Scheels profiles and immediately watches any person of color that comes in the store. I mean how did they even recognize us? Supposedly the security guard recognized me from 2.5 months this ago. But I mean seriously, I was in the store 2.5 months ago and spoke to the security guard for 10 minutes tops. But out of the 1,000s of people that walk into that store daily, he recongnized me? Little ol’ me. And then knew who my son was because of me? I mean I know I’m beautiful but give me a break. When I asked if they watch people of color closely, it angered the security guard and he kicked me out. Anyway, 4 people escorted us out of the store because I did not want to give my money to Scheels after this experience. I gave away the gift cards I had planned to use and plan to cancel my credit card. I’m a hard working single mom that has done well for myself and my kids and I’ve never felt so humiliated as I did in that moment. Scheels profiles so if you’re...

They said the Paris mission was the end of it. They lied.
Three weeks later, I got the call. The voice on the other end was urgent. "Agent Armstrong… your last operation rattled the wrong cages. The Syndicate knows your face. They know your name. They’ve put a price on your head in twelve countries. You’ve got 48 hours to disappear—or you’re done."
I didn’t pack a bag. I didn’t call for backup. I went straight to the only person who could save me.
Lisseth at Sport Clips.
She spotted me the second I stepped in. One glance at my eyes, and she knew. This wasn’t just a trim. This was life or death. Without a word, she pointed to the chair.
The room went silent except for the snick of her shears and the low hum of the clippers.
Fade? Tighter than a diplomatic deadline.
Part? So clean it could cut glass.
Blend? Smoother than an MI6 extraction plan.
Every precise movement stripped away my old identity. The billionaire playboy from Paris was gone. In his place stood a new man, one the Syndicate would never recognize.
When she spun me toward the mirror, I saw a stranger staring back. A rugged outdoorsman with a hint of mystery.
Someone who looked like he could sell organic goat cheese at a farmer’s market by day… and quietly remove a high-value target from the geopolitical chessboard by night.
By the time I left Great Clips, “Agent Armstrong” no longer existed. I had become someone else.
The mission? Still classified.
The enemies? Still hunting.
My hair? Untouchable.
Lisseth isn’t just my stylist. She’s my handler, my disguise expert, my lifeline. If the day ever comes when I don’t make it back, it won’t be because of my haircut.
5/5 stars. I’d trust her with my life, my cover story, and my...

Not a food post this time — but definitely a 5-STAR EXPERIENCE worth sharing. Just visited Scheels in Reno and got top-tier service from beginning to end — I’m talking about the kind of care and attention that really makes you feel seen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Big shoutouts to Mateo Gutierrez, Cindy, Ryan S, and Sarah A — each of them helped us in different departments, and each one went above and beyond. From finding a very specific softball (literally buried in a book of SKUs), to helping us score the perfect life jacket — best fit, best price — the staff was on it. And the best part? My girlfriend found a dress for her Bahamas trip and walked out smiling from ear to ear. 🏖️⚾️⛑️

But if I had to pick a standout — it’s Mateo. I saw him doing something, clearly in the middle of a task — and I interrupted his flow. Without hesitation, he stepped out of his routine to help me find exactly what I was looking for. No rush. No brushing me off. Just good, genuine customer service. That’s rare — and it deserves to be recognized. 🙌👏💯

I’ll be reviewing the products we picked up soon — so stay tuned for that. But this one’s all about the people. If you’re in Reno and looking for gear, clothes, outdoor stuff, or just want to be treated right — go to Scheels. The service speaks for itself.
