Reno Tea Bar — Restaurant in Sparks

DO NOT GO! For starters the reviews are already bad but after going in I knew what everyone was talking about. Not only were there only children working there but all they did was laugh and ignore you while you were waiting at the registers. I ordered a boba strawberry banana smoothie and to my surprise the boba was gone!?!? No explanation or anything the kid just said “we don’t serve boba”. Even though it was on the menu! I also got the esquite which then I was told there was no corn. 30 seconds later I’m told there’s corn and when I get it, there’s just hot Cheetos dust and cheese. No Mayo and barely any corn. After tasting the corn the Cheetos were clearly stale and just consumed the entire bowl, and my STRAWBERRY banana smoothie was just a banana and foam smoothie. NO FLAVOR. If you want to have your taste buds be disappointed...

Worst tea shop I have ever been to. Ordered two drinks and a strawberry acai bowl for a total of $30. The drinks did not taste how they were supposed to, and the boba was small and hard. The "acai" bowl was just strawberry blended with ice. No purple or acai flavor whatsoever. It had a little bit of fruit and granola on top. It was missing the coconut and chia seeds that were supposed to be in there. I'm pretty sure they were out of acai and just didn't tell me, because they turned off the menu sign for acai bowls shortly after they made mine. The wait time was also unusually long for only one customer in front of me. Never...

One of those places you wish you could give 0 stars. Save yourself the time and money.

Boba was mushy and old. Milk tea tasted like sugar syrupy with lukewarm milk. No other add-ons besides bad boba - no jellies (grass, lychee, etc). Was just told by disinterested staff member "Yea we're basically out of everything".

Tables were sticky and gross. Only two or three stools for the entire side across from the bench seating. Music inside didn't match the atmosphere for a boba shop.

Not sure who runs or manages the place, but clearly in need of attention.
