Freshberry Frozen Yogurt — Restaurant in Sparks

So it’s been a while since we have stopped by because of multiple experiences with the servers being rude especially if you show up closer to closing time. Today we happened to be at legends buying shoes for my son and we decide to walk over in the cold to get a smoothie before we leave only to be told by the girl working “I can’t do smoothies right now because we are closing soon.” Super bland and rude. So I tell her they should have a sign or something to make that known so we don’t walk over with a two year old in the cold and she just stares at me. Lol. She just stares with a look that says what-do-you-want-me-to-do-about-it and raises her eye brows and then says she can tell her manager because her manager tells her to not make smoothies before they close. If that’s the policy, cool but make it known and train your employees to be courteous. Sheesh. I get that she was a young employee but there was no greeting from the beginning when we walked in, no how can I help you until I walk up to the counter and say hi can I please order, and just rude and bland when she says we can’t...

The ice cream and smoothies are fantastic but on 2 occasions they have refused to make smoothies for us because they said it takes too long to clean up and they were closing soon. One time it was 7:50pm which ok, I wasn’t happy because we only drove to legends from Spanish springs to get smoothies but I guess I understood. The second time we were there at 7:35pm and they still refused to make smoothies for the same reason. There are no notices that say no smoothies after a certain time and how long can it possibly take to clean a blender and maybe a cutting board. Yogurt, oh yogurt, where art thou? It is a wonderful 38 degrees outside at 6 PM and this is the best decision I've ever made. This place does yogurt well. It isn't like most other yogurt places where they let you serve yourself and then weigh the terrifying creation you've made and then charge you by the ounce. Fresh Berry makes it clean and easy to order and they put your toppings on for you minimizing any casualties. The staff that work there are super friendly and attentive which is surprisingly refreshing. Lily hooked me up and made me the most delicious yogurt in my life, queue the tears and sappy music.
