These guys are crooked! Beware! I had never been in there before. I was invited before by a friend to play some Star Trek game. Well when I was leaving, I noticed they had a bunch of stuff on the front counter that was on clearance. There were these Spider-Man dice games that looked fun. I enquired about them, & was told they'd been sitting for awhile with no interest. So I told the guy who runs it, this chubby bald dude with a goatee, that I was coming back in a few days when I got paid to buy the games. Flash forward to the weekend - I drove clear across town & wasted a bunch of gas AND paid for parking, only to find out that shifty little bugger purposely took the clearance stickers off so I'd have to pay full price, knowing I was highly interested. THIS IS A CRIMINAL ACT. IT IS CALLED "BAITING & SWITCHING" and is ILLEGAL under both state & federal consumer protection laws. When I objected, Mr. Clean copped an attitude with me & basically said I was a liar & blind & that those games were never on clearance. I'll NEVER shop there again as long as they pull this crap. Friggin crooks. Ought to be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!!! Go to The Comic Book Shop...
Read moreTerrible place to play Magic, the management and employees only want people that are new and people they feel aren’t too good because they participate in the tournaments as well and if they don’t win they get very upset and will harass you then ask you not to come back. The bookkeeper literally told me if anyone else was playing your deck it would be fine but you are too good to play here. They have a very hard time managing tournaments, sometimes the tournament will start an hour late or they will change the rules of the tournament in the middle of the tournament and if you still win it seriously upsets them. They also allow people that yell at the players and act like they don’t want to be there to run the tournaments. I’ve played Magic at a lot of stores in multiple states and this is by far the worst tournament experience. It’s fine if you’re a kid that doesn’t care about winning or a new comer that doesn’t care...
Read moreI was at Uncle's yesterday around noon wanting to pick up a game, but couldn't remember the name. I was promptly greeted and asked if I needed help, but I politely declined thinking if I saw the game, I would know the one I was looking for. I didn't, so I mentioned to the gentleman at the counter how I thought just browsing might jog my memory of the game I wanted. He asked me to describe the game, which I had never played and only been told about. I said, "I believe it's horror themed, card based, takes up a lot of space, and has a 4-6 hours play time." The gentleman named the game first try and I purchased it. I still can't believe the product knowledge it takes to guess the correct title, out of all the games offered in the store. Then I chatted with him and the woman working there for a few minutes and I was very impressed with the excellent customer service. Thank you for such a wonderful...
