Trulieve Brooksville Dispensary — Local services in Spring Hill

Staff was friendly and the front desk associate was very inviting. But That's where the good part of the review ends. The process at Trulieve compared to almost every other competing dispensary here in Florida is completely backwards!!!! You literally had to wait for 20 minutes just to be able to go in the back. It makes no sense how controlled Trulieve is. Medical marijuana patients have to jump through hoops as it is to get approved and then when you visit Trulieve you feel like you have to jump through hoops even more.... Now I remember why I don't go there very often and I prefer its competitors. At other dispensaries you can just walk right in, go right to the counter and talk to somebody. You don't need to sign in, you don't need their "permission" as to when you can approach a counter and you definitely don't sit there for 20 to 30 minutes just to be able to go in the back to shop. Trulieve has too many restrictions in their policies that make it difficult to get people in and out quickly... People with anxiety don't want to go through their tsa style process of waiting in line just to be able to be let in through a door to go shopping. Nobody wants to sit in a room for 20 to 30 minutes just to be stared at by everyone that comes in the door. It makes it even worse that it was an online order pick up that my wife placed. It should have been ready and an hour later it was not. Trulieve really needs to rethink their process. They are hurting their business. If they would just start looking at customer reviews or listening to people in fb groups that complain about the experience and feeling like they're being controlled, They might actually be able to improve it like every other dispensary has. As a MM cancer patient myself, this is why I typically do not go to Trulieve. It's competitors have a much better AND MORE STREAMLINED process with less stress involved and you can literally walk in and out within 3-5 minutes, have your order and out the door. I won't name the other competitors, but three other major chains here in Florida have way better processes and don't make you feel like you're walking into a courthouse, jail or a prison!!! Fix your systems!!!! The patient experience should be your highest priority. You make it feel like we're sitting in a doctor's office waiting to be called in to see...

Edit: 2 stars because amount of time I have to wait to get new product because my prescription and the experience. I went back for a sale on tru pods. One was leaking so I brought it back in to exchange. The dude exchanged the cart that was super nice looking color wise had a nice golden clear tint to it. And gave me a pod that was dark brown and tasted years old. I love the staff at Spring Hill but I’ve gotten nothing but problems from Brooksville every time I have an exchange or anything related to not liking a product they make you feel like you must keep something you don’t like and doesn’t agree with you, or they will give you old products or something worse in return. They make you almost feel bad for returning something and I’ve never felt that anywhere else (except the flowery at Inverness their staff is suspicious.) Did not like the experience at all , but had to go there because they were the only one with the products I wanted in stock but it turned out I didn’t get a product I wanted anyway…

Love their alien labs, connected , Khalifa kush (all when on sale 🤣) and their modern flower has some on point strains usually try and get some when doing sales for sure!

Old review: Giving 2 starts because the amount of money I’ve wasted on “top shelf” buds from brands like black tuna, Bellamy brothers, and a few other top shelf but mainly those two, I’ve been let down every time. Roll one has better flower than both of those brands for 20 dollars compared to 58… like just cut ties with the crap and keep the good stuff at a decent price. If you changed the 58$ strains to 30-35 they’d be gone so fast all the time not waiting around for 4+ months for a sale once the terps and thc...

My to go to store . All store employees has been good to me. Always very respectful and very informational. Theses photos are blue dream crumble. A very pleasant smooth realize Buzz one of my to go. For relaxation A medical cannabis Doctor has moved in next door... I have no information on that office. But there are plenty other medical cannabis doctors in the area of Hernando County. I see a lot of customers are complaining about the quality at the store it is not the employees bought at the store it is the dispensaries that brings it to our dispensary so it's whatever comes in on shipment. And they don't get to choose what strain of what product that comes in. So if there is a certain strain you are looking for ... If you need of a certain strain than it is beneficial to you to look around at the other dispensaries rather it's Trulieve or other Trulieve's dispensaries the one in Brooksville then we have Wesley Chapel .... New Port Richey.... there is one right off of 41 Dale melbury ....not too far there's a few more as you go down 19 and if you want to get product one of the best two of them is Clearwater one on 19 and the other one is on bay way Boulevard I think is the name is right around. The corner there by Clearwater Beach. There's so many places to choose from and different stores have different strands in different products you got to search around got to do the work......
