So I was in the restaurant on Sunday March 19th, 2023 around 7:30pm. I've been debating this review for a week and came to the decision to post this, as it still bothers me. I ordered my food to go and it was made in an efficient manner by a woman that was very personable and friendly, believe she said her name was Veronica. I appreciate Her. My Problem is there was a guy in a red dress shirt making food with No Hat or Hair Net on and looked like he was in dress shoes. I worked in the food industry for years when I was younger. I know for a fact that most places require hair covers and Nonslip shoes. It's just been on my mind all week why this guy was making food without a hat or hair net on. It looked as there was plenty of employees in uniform With hair covers on, and this guy stood out. No hair was in my food as it was made on the other side from where he was working. IF he would have made my food, I'd probably would have asked someone else to make it. I frequent this location and it's Always clean, the employees are always welcoming, friendly and professional. I've never seen this guy here before and am still unsure of why he was making food with no hair cover on and out of uniform. Even if he was from corporate or just an employee helping out he should have had a hat or hair net on while making food. Again, I love this location, everyone there is amazing. Hence why I waited to see if the situation bothered me a week later and Yes it does, so I'm posting this. Other than that guy my visit was amazing as always. Thank You Taco Bell Cortez Crew for the great food, clean restaurant and friendly service. I'll see you tomorrow, as Sunday evening is my...
Read moreI’m extremely dissapointed in how this Taco Bell is operating. I don’t know if this is across all Taco Bell’s or just this one. When I got here the line for the drive thru was extremely long so we decided to come inside and order. We walked up to the register and were told we had to order ourselves on the kiosk. Which is fine, a little annoying since we were in a rush and the kiosk is a little confusing. But we did it and got it done. Meanwhile, an elderly gentleman came in and walked to the register and he was told to order on the kiosk. He told them he didn’t know how to do that. And they told him they would take his order in a moment. After about 10 minutes the gentleman asks if someone is going to take his order. Someone else comes over and tells him no he has to order on the kiosk. He told them he doesn’t know how and would prefer if someone just take his order at the register. The Taco Bell employer refused to help him at the register and kept telling him that he had to order at the kiosk. The employer told the man he would help him in a moment and then proceeded to go to the back and bag more orders making this poor gentleman wait even longer to place an order. I went to go look for the man to help him and when I looked he had left. It honestly made me so sad to see this. I’m disappointed in this Taco Bell for doing this and not accommodating this elderly man for his order. I understand that sometimes staffing is short and busy moments happen. However, society is losing the overall human decency and face to face contact with people. Very disappointing and I won’t be...
Read moreCan't trust these employees the guy at the 1st window cash register walked away with my debit card for a few minutes while I sat in the drive thru. He could have took a picture of my card information or something. Either way I had to cancel my bank card because it was compromised. Ruined my day. My meal was $4.86 and it cost me $5.00 to replace my card through my bank. And I had to reset all of my automatic payments. There was no reason for him to walk away with my card especially since I was the only one at the restaurant at 7:30am. Don't trust these people with your cards. He really just took my card and walked away and came back and slid the card like nothing happened. I told him that it isn't right to disappear with someone's card information and that I was cancelling the card-- that I wasn't accusing him of stealing my information, but I'd never know if he did or not-- what he did was unacceptable. Seriously, watch this place and all other drive thru's. They will steal your card information knowing that your bank will refund the money so they don't technically see it as stealing. I've had it happen before (Dunkin Donuts employee got me for $500) and I'll be damned if I let it happen again. Absolutely uncalled for and I'm pretty sure Taco Bell trains the employees to slide the card and give it back immediately, not walk off with the card in hand and go diddle around for 5 minutes then come back. I wasn't born yesterday. I used to eat here sometimes, now I'll never go back....
